I wish it was possible to give negative stars. This was the worst hospital experience ever! We waited over 5 hours just to be put in a triage room because they accidentally kept skipping us. Then spent a few more hours being forgotten in the triage room while several other people were given rooms, seen and discharged. Even though they said the next room was ours since we were skipped we will NEVER! come here again. I would advise others to do the same. This has been a horrible and unforgettable experience!

I went to the ER tonight for pink eye. My eye is red, almost swollen shut, itchy, painful, and oozing a discharge. One look from a doctor would confirm diagnosis and get a prescription for me. But that's not what happened. After sitting in the waiting room for an hour after speaking to the triage nurse, I asked how long the wait would be. "We have two in discharge right now," the clerk told me. Another hour went by and besides the pain in my eye, my fibromyalgia and arthritis were causing me tremendous discomfort. I suffer from PTSD, and the room was over-stimulating for me. It was too bright and way too loud with kids playing, kids crying, and an entire family having a reunion. I live 1/2 mile from the hospital, so I explained my issues and asked to be phoned at home when they were ready to see me. It would take me three minutes to get back there, but they refused my request. I had to leave without being seen and use an OTC homeopathic drop from Walmart for tonight and then try to get into a doctor tomorrow. The last two times I was there for treatment, I was there five hours. They wouldn't even give me pain medication for a severe migraine on one of the visits. They gave me something that I said wouldn't work, and it didn't, and they refused to do more. They don't have enough rooms and they don't have enough staff working to see patients in a timely manner. Even a woman who came in with a possible stroke had to sit at the admissions desk and try to answer a slew of questions before being called back to triage. They have no clue how to provide adequate medical care.

The nurses were great with my grandmother, but the "Doctor" I did not care for, he did not want to be in the room, he hated answering our questions. My grandma is hard hearing and wears hearing aids and she couldn't hear him talking to her so he had to speak up and he got an attitude about that. He ran a bunch of test and still found out nothing and released her with an antibiotic. We sat in that hospital for over 4 hours! I understand doctors are busy, but you are getting paid to take care of patients so spend the time and take care of them properly and in a timely manner!

Im admitted here about twice a year..usually the food is my only complaint..this time admitted 3 days ,the Emergency room staff was horrible and rude.the 2ond floor staff was so helpful, and accommodating ,but my room wasn't cleaned the entire 3 days, and the food is still awful.in Emergency asked me what was wrong,I told her,and she said "o are you diagnosing yourself?"It just left me thinking I hope I never have to use this facility again.
