It’s Amazing how people bash public servants and business that serve the public. Morton plant has been a top 100 hospital. That’s Amazing considering how many thousands of hospitals there are. You can please some of the people some of the time. The rest like to vent.
And that doesn't change the imperfect human experience. Be constructive not destructive with words. When there are hundreds of employees how can they all get it right.

My boyfriend just had surgery there and everything he had to say about this place was positive. He loved the food, the nurse's took excellent care of him. I ate there once myself and the staff in the cafeteria are very nice. I'd like to thank everyone for taking such good care of my sweetheart. Morton plant hospital is A OK with me. Happy New Year to all of you.

In January, my husband hit his head and was temporarily knocked out, so we went to Morton Plant ER for the sake of precaution. The people checking us in were efficient and friendly. Once back in the examining room, a nurse quickly took our information, and without examining the wound on my husband's head, told us a doctor would be right in. Next came a physician's assistant, who was in the room for approximately 5 minutes. As with the nurse, she did not come near my husband. No looking into his eyes or checking out the wound. She said they would take him soon for a scan. Several hours later (with nobody checking back in since the beginning), he was finally scanned. Soon after, the same PA came in and stood at the door and said he was cleared to go. I was then sent three bills (one specifically from their doctor we never saw) totaling $3,252. When I called to politely request why the fees were so high and explained that the care did not match up to the price, the lady was extremely rude and uncaring. Awful experience and seemingly fraudulent billing.

Great staff in a very clean Hospital. We had our first child here and it was a great experience and I visited other patients here and was always treated well end know that they were treated well also. Starbucks inside so even if you're not stopping there's a Starbucks you can go to.

I’ve had 3 surgeries in the past year at Morton Plant. Every experience I had was outstanding. The entire team demonstrated compassion, kindness, and efficiency. Can’t say enough great things about BayCare as a whole!
