Mountains Community Hospital

Yes l was admitted on 10/3/19. I was on vacation in Lake Arrowhead and was not feeling well with Hypocalcemia. Staff were so polite and very caring , and attentive epecially Leitha and Jakob. I felt safe and in good care. Thank you to all staff at Mountains Community Hospital. I have vacationed every year in Lake Arrowhead for many years and now l know where l can go and feel safe for medical attention. Thanks again , Mary

Took my 2.5 yr old son to ER in Monday night at 1130pm. Called ahead to let them know we were coming. We were the only 2 in the waiting area. Both reception windows said closed despite 2 staff members behind them chatting and laughing. One eating a cupcake! Neither made eye contCt with us. Another staff member entered the area and was swinging around a plastic bag containing a patients personal items and they were all laughing. After waiting to be helped after 15 minutes I stood up and lost my mind! They finally looked at me and we walked out. I called after we left to tell them how upset I was and they told me they had a critical patient they were tending to!?! That was an outrage! They were all very relaxed and chatting away all the while laughing and eating? Beyond unreal and sad because it was so late, my baby needed care and I had to drive over an hour away to find professional help. I would never return to this ER if my life depended on it! A straight joke at best!

Unexpectedly I had to be in the hospital for 5 days. I must say, what a great hospital this is. The ER staff was wonderful. My surgeon, anesthesiologist, and OR nurse were fantastic. After surgery, the staff were great. Because it’s small, i didn’t have to wait for anything. Each and every one of them were helpful. And the view above Lake Arrowhead was beautiful. Thank you all!!

Amazing service and care, I have never experienced such quality of care in 40 years in any other ER, Dr. Hardison is amazing and the nursing staff is great too.

I wouldn't recommend going to that hospital. On Saturday my girl went in their because of pains in her stomach. The results showed she was pregnant however her experience was horrible. They treated her like a drug seeker when she is far from and refused to follow protocol. When she explained there is something more as the pain was far to severe. They dismissed. The next day she ends up unable to get out of car while in pain and calls 911. She's rushed to the hospital and into surgery. She had a eptopic pregnancy and was hemmorging on the inside. Due to a inexperienced nurse with a attitude. Also her inability to follow the most basic guidelines to solve problems pertaining to one's health issues. Allowing her personal opinion of someone to cloud her judgement and job. It almost costed this young girl her life.
