Every single person here did a great job caring for me and was personable and friendly. They have to deal with a lot of jerks and they were still nice. They helped me feel better and did it with a smile. Billing will work with you too. Can't say enough about this place.

Best experience ever. I was blessed to find a great Dr. Dr. Carreau is kind, caring and really great at what she does. I had a same day surgery and everyone was great from the lab to registering, the nurses and of course ending with the Dr. Overall a really great experience for my first time evervhaving surgery. Very clean hospital. Thank you

one of the worst experience i have ever experience with any healthcare practice/office. firstly i went there for a blood work to be done and 2 out of the 3 times i went the nurse couldn't find a vein and i had both my arms pricked in order to find a vein. very unpleasant. secondly, the hospital parking is just the worst not enough parking spots for all the patients, had to find street parking. newport hospital is also partnered up with practice called lifespan (ob-gyn) and they never call you promptly when the results of a ultrasound or bloodwork comes back. You have to actively call them to inquire about it. The front desk and their medical staff does not seems communicated with one another because you'll get a verbal promise that someone will call you back but never does. called 3 days to inquire about my test results and never got a call back so i went down there to the office and everyone was gone except one front desk. the front desk told me the midwife i was seeing was on personal leave and will not be in the office. i was so mad i requested to speak to a manager. only then did i get a call back from an associate doctor to tell me my results. Beware that i had insurance when i was seen here but i was billed for full amount (as if i was paying everything out of pocket). when i called my insurance i was informed by my insurance i was only responsible for a small fraction of that billed amount and the rest was adjusted (or not responsible for). long story short the hospital was having a billing problem on their side where everyone with the same insurance i did the hospital wasn't get paid for the service rendered. so make sure you check the explanation of benefits (eob) your insurance sends you after each dr visit with whatever bill the doctor is sending you. make sure the amount matches.

It was a very expensive experience! Well it was amazing hospital! I was bored one day and I needed a mini vacation so I decided to stay few days at Newport hospital, they give me the whole Vanderbilt Wing . My Medicare card was like a American Express card with no limit. I ordered lobster fra diavolo multiple Times. I Did the rarest and most expensive test that was possible, I had a headache and I ask for the biggest bottle of Tylenol you have.im just so thankful for the tax payers of the great city of Newport for picking up the bill for me

Racial discrimination is a growing issue in the Lifespan!!! Managers put down other race specially Latino. They have favoratesism toward white people. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY TO WORK FOR. Shame on them for ruining people life just because racism.
