This place nearly killed my daughter. Sepsis Certification - not sure if this was from causing sepsis or trying to treat the patients that get septic from the treatment. As for insurance, might as well not have any. Very few of its doctors are in plan and you have to pay an amazing amount out of pocket!
So I was there yesterday....
They place me in a room pretty fast. They started me up on my vitals like they were suppose too. But yet when it came to getting my blood done this lovely nurse Peter talks over is radio. And says "I'm in 16 with a medicaid." Like excuse I'm here already because I'm having a miscarriage I'm senstisen I'm not a Medicaid I'm a patient or I have a name.
And then on top of they I guess took an extra tub of blood... My husband's sees it and goes on tell them because the blood work is really important . And they say they don't need it and then started laughing at us. Like my doctor was tight and very nice. And so was the nurse Megan that was suppose to take care of me. And Mary who for my ultrasound was very sweet.. But that nurse Peter made me feel less like a person.he should not be in healthcare if he is called patients by their health insurance. His job is to take care of anyone that comes through that door. Because of him he ruined my whole visit. North suburban always has nurses like him and if they want better reviews they need better staffing.
And on top of that they are very judgemental towards people's appearance and insurance
I went Friday night, seemed they knew what they where doing checking me in, took about 5 tubes of blood and come back and tell me I have “some infection” in my body and they shoot me in many antibiotics and couple hours go by , and her goes another 3 tubes of blood . After being in the hospital for 5 hours , they couldn’t tell me what I had or detect what was wrong ??? They had no idea what I had or what was wrong ? What kind of medical center tells me that they don’t know what’s happening ? When you go to a hospital your suppose to feel safe and confident your going to be healed . Better yet I had to go somewhere else to get told I had to tonsillitis, and no Kidney infection. But that’s what they “THINK” I had ?? Horrible experience and never going there again .
I had a horrible child birthing experience here. Very rude nurses. Treated me and family around me terrible. On another occasion here I had surgery and went home same evening. Got home to find out an iv was wrapped up and still in my arm with blood coming out! I highly suggest going somewhere else
Wife was admitted to the hospital by a doctor on Friday, supposedly for a "infection". Wife put on antibiotics. Wife texting me Saturday saying feeling better "be home soon". Sunday police knock on my door 2am saying "get to the hospital immediately". Go to hospital, told by doctors that wife's skull and brain are full of blood from a brain bleed. Chance of survival zero. Brain bled for two days (friday-sunday) and they scanned her head when it was too late. I have lost my wife of 16 years and am totally devastated.
