This was the best hospital experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of them. The atmosphere from the moment I walked in was inviting, comforting, and clean. The front desk staff went above and beyond in their assistance and had vibrant personalities. The nurses were kind and compassionate. They listened to my needs and were incredibly professional. Dr. Duke was my doctor and he was professional, attentive, and went above and beyond. I would 100% recommend this hospital to everyone.

Most unprofessional experience I have ever had at any hospital I have ever been to. You don’t wait until a patient is 2 1/2 days out from surgery to tell them they have to have cardiac clearance. I’m considering having my surgery closer to home where the staff is better suited and trained to do their job.

This is the only place in Kootenai County I'd recommend. The staff is amazing. Everyone does 110% when it comes to taking care of you. They really make you feel like you matter & you can tell that they care. No one has a problem explaining anything to you or answering questions.

I had surgery. The after care nurse was emotionally abusive, neglectful, and treated me with profound disrespect. She gave me the wrong instructions for my medication, if I had taken them as directed I would have severely overdosed. My husband was there as well and thought she was on drugs or going through a divorce. Worst of all, she opened the door while I was in the bathroom, undressed. I asked her not to, told her to close it - she kept it open to an entire room of the hospital. Staff and patients and family members passed by. I feel violated and disgusted in every way. Human Services apologized and dismissed me flippantly. I spent $4,000 and a good deal of time and energy to be dehumanized and traumatized. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Surgical dept is great. Waiting room is ridiculously loud. People checking in, multiple conversations of those waiting added to the very loud coffee station makes it a non relaxing environment. Coffee station needs to.be somewhere else.
