This place is a dishonest rip off. They charged me for a level 3 in the emergency room for shining a light in my mouth and confirming tooth #2 was infected as the paperwork from my dentist's diagnosis indicated. They then wrote prescriptions for Amoxicillin and Ibuprofen ( an obvious level 1). The tooth became infected on a Friday evening ( of course) before I could get the root canal done. Less than 1 minute with a doctor and a pair of disposable gloves = a $2300 bill from these people. They will also give you the run-around when you try to get them down to an honest amount for the work performed and then turn you over to collections. Avoid these crooks at all costs. BTW, they make a few top overpriced lists in the country. Google 50 most overpriced ERs in the US and you will find them.
Worst hospital ever. After sitting 8 hours with severe stomach pain, blood tests, and a ct scan your answer is I don’t know. YOU ARE A HOSPITAL RUN SOME TESTS AND FIGURE IT OUT!! Don’t tell a patient you do not know when you have the capability to figure it out. I will be taking my business to Bayfront from now on.
I would like to rate this hospital a 5 star cause everyone has been aweome to me at this Hospital. This is my first time having to be the patient and staying at a hospital and I don't have any complaints. Staff is very friendly and they are all very hard workers. I'd have to say this is probably the best hospital in spring hill/Brooksville Florida area.
I was taken to the ER via an ambulance. The EMT's were wonderful, but it went downhill from the moment I entered the ER. The nurse was gruff, unprofessional, and didn't seem to care about me or anyone else in the ER. I was taken in with chest pains and yet no one thought to hook me up to a heart monitor. The nurse tried to give me aspirin and I told her I cannot take them she rudely said "then why did the DR order them"? I don't know! I was asked to provide a urine sample and when I did I was asked why I was providing it..then it was promptly thrown out. The DR. wanted to keep me but was unable to provide a solid reason as to why. There was so much more going on during my time in the ER that was so horrible I finally went up to someone to get the IV out of my arm (that alone was a fiasco to have accomplished) and I walked out. I am giving two stars because the ER manager called me at home the next day and apologized for my experience. My Advice, go to Bayfront!
Would never return to this hospital. Only went in for fluids due to having the Flu. The hospital bill was $3971.00. And also received a separate bill from the emergency room doctor for $1150.00. Total over $5,000.00 for bloodwork, iv fluids, a Tylenol, and nausea meds in the iv. Oh yeah, the doctor wrote a prescription too.
GROSS OVERCHARGING. BEWARE.
