My mom was hospitalized for 6 days at this facility,Ana Ayala in A323. The care, dedication and consistency was excellent. I take only positive memories with me about the wonderful staff at this hospital, those that feed the patients, the cleaning staff, different lab techs, care teams, therapists, nurses, nurse leaders, doctors ... extremely appreciative to all those that in some way, form or manner offered kind words to my mother. Many blessings to a great hospital and their dedicated staff.
If your not feeling well don’t go to the emergency room. They will leave you waiting for hours and hours. And don’t bother asking the people behind the desk because they don’t care about how you feel. They are very dry and quick to brush you off. If you wait and good luck with that , the poor nurses in the back try there best to make up for the lack of care you received in the front waiting room. It’s sad how they treat people while you wait.
My first time visiting an ER since I moved down here, it was MUCH faster than the ones I've been to back in the DMV area .It was reasonably clean, staff was okay, NY nurse tried to give me a shot with no gloves on though, AND I was told to call and follow up on some test results which I've been doing all day, to no avail so on that part they're horrible. They literally sent my call all over the place, before telling me "Google My health one, and you can find your health information on there", which was a lie. All in all, it's not that bad of a hospital.
Too many bad things in the 13 days here to mention....
Process/ communication/ between drs and who ever is next in charge to make decisions
Is number one issue...
Seems like a little league hospital trying to play in the big leagues
And have failures at all turns of functions ...
13 days to locate a G I bleed and still going in circles
Total failure in there process
It would be a negative score if they provided one
Was scheduled for induction today and an hour before coming in they call me to tell me there are no beds available at the moment and not to come in. This is something that was schedule due to a medical condition I have. I understand that last minute things happen but to me this is ridiculous! So now they are saying "hopefully" tomorrow. I feel that their planning is horrible. As well something that's suppose to be exciting for me the joy has been taken out quickly. Way to go with your planning. What a huge disappointment!!!
