I just spent 5 days inpatient care on the cardiac unit. Dr. Brian Cunningham was the Doctor assigned to treat me.
I had the best possible care and treatment, not only from Doctor Cunningham, but the entire staff , including the housekeeper and food service staff.
I couldn't have asked for better care and treatment.
Not one single complaint from this patient. 🙂 Thank you Owensboro Regional Health Hospital.
Hospital visits are never fun, but I have to say Nurse Linda Hoover from progressive care unit is absolutely amazing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a great caring person, the hospital and any patients that are under your care are extremely lucky!! Thank you and God bless 😇
I do not live locally and I am glad. This has been one of the worst hospitals I have ever visited. The staff is rude. We stayed in a hospitality room for $25.00. There was food in the refrigerator that was not ours. Used soap in shower that was not ours. The coffee machine did not work. I informed the front desk. Two hours later it still was not fixed. The response I was given was “well it’s not like they are just around the corner to fix it!” The staff at the front desk of the CCU should be trained to have a little more compassion. Every person I have encountered has been rude from the front desk to the cafeteria. The only kind individual I encountered was Dana, a security guard. Unfortunately, someone called security and all we were doing was sitting in the waiting room. I felt as if they were going to search us for weapons/drugs! This place is a joke. I feel sorry for everyone that lives in Owensboro that has to use this nasty, rude hospital.
Ashley Ingram was my mom's nurse, she was very friendly and informative. She also was able to draw blood the first time when hitting a vein on my mom. Thank you Ashley, for your help and warm welcome
Nurses and "hospitality" suite staff rude and unprofessional. Housekeeping seemed nice until we found out they lied and said we refused them entry to our room and also said they never saw us to ask if they could come in. So which is it? Because its not possible to be both scenarios. Either way both are utter bull. We saw housekeeping in the hall several times where we asked for towels and whatever we needed and nothing was ever mentioned. In fact we had requested service 3 days in a row and no one ever showed up. It was the few days that we utilized the provided "do not disturb" sign that we were contacted by management saying we had to let a housekeeper inspect our room. Paid $20 a night to be treated like garbage and purchased our own cleaning supplies because the room was filthy when we checked in. We ended up getting a "letter of termination" for the suite after we had already checked out, on time, mind you. Room was left spotless. Called desk when we got the letter in the mail and was met with a childish response from beth who answered the phone and all but refused to transfer me to a higher up to file a complaint. I had to call twice and ended up having to tell her i was recording the convo to get her to finally transfer me. She told me several times that no matter who i complained to they wouldnt do anything about it, raised her voice at me, and would absolutely not let me speak and kept saying she couldn't hear me and laughing when I tried to speak. Will travel far out of my way to avoid this place from now on if possible. Being treated like this during an already very difficult time was drepressing and hard to swallow to say the least. They had my wife in tears multiple times during our stay.
