Owensboro Health Regional Hospital

I would give it a 0 (Zero) if I could. Brother took our mom here in late March 2019. She had fallen at home. At ER 8 1/2 hours. ER told us she had pulled muscle in left rib would be fine. Go home!!! Got much much worse at home after 1 day. Took her to Gateway and did CT. Had broken back and kidneys we're compromised. In hospital 9 days.

I just spent 5 days inpatient care on the cardiac unit. Dr. Brian Cunningham was the Doctor assigned to treat me. I had the best possible care and treatment, not only from Doctor Cunningham, but the entire staff , including the housekeeper and food service staff. I couldn't have asked for better care and treatment. Not one single complaint from this patient. Thank you Owensboro Regional Health Hospital.

Hospital visits are never fun, but I have to say Nurse Linda Hoover from progressive care unit is absolutely amazing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a great caring person, the hospital and any patients that are under your care are extremely lucky!! Thank you and God bless

I do not live locally and I am glad. This has been one of the worst hospitals I have ever visited. The staff is rude. We stayed in a hospitality room for $25.00. There was food in the refrigerator that was not ours. Used soap in shower that was not ours. The coffee machine did not work. I informed the front desk. Two hours later it still was not fixed. The response I was given was “well it’s not like they are just around the corner to fix it!” The staff at the front desk of the CCU should be trained to have a little more compassion. Every person I have encountered has been rude from the front desk to the cafeteria. The only kind individual I encountered was Dana, a security guard. Unfortunately, someone called security and all we were doing was sitting in the waiting room. I felt as if they were going to search us for weapons/drugs! This place is a joke. I feel sorry for everyone that lives in Owensboro that has to use this nasty, rude hospital.

Radiology staff are polite. Nurses were well equipped to handle even tedious issues that arose. ER doctor was informative and clearly considerate.
