Every staff member I came into contact with was absolutely delightful. Professional, kind and compassionate. Coming from someone who isn’t a fan of hospitals, that should say a lot. Thank you New Year’s Day ER staff. You turned my horrible day around.
I went to the modules and Patricia gives the answers, you won't learn what you need to learn. In retrospect, I wanted to tell her that I am not a child. The CEO Dick, said to do the right thing, so I did, and won't work with an education RN who tells.the answers for some five modules typed up on paperwork, this is.the first corruption hospital that I have seen in my travel nurse career that does this. Patricia Forsythe is unethical. She is a hostile person who sits on the table and swings her legs back and forth sighing during your EKG test. Improper classroom behavior I observed with Ms.Patricia Forsythe. A mean streak for sure from Patricia. Patricia gives the EKG test answers on the dry erase board, then erases them....she gives the answers. Not a sign of a good RN educator, this is a very serious red flag, a nurse could get a bad reputation here.
I read the reviews before I went to Palmdale regional and I actually found them to be a disservice. The staff was very friendly, courteous, compassionate, kind and very professional. They made me smile when I really didn't want too. My only knock is that when someone comes in with a neurological or autoimmune issue such as M.S. or Transverse myelitis, you have to be able to do MRI'S to determine is there's flare ups, inflammation or a new attack not a Cat scan because with these issues, if they're not addressed the new nerve damage could be permanent. Other than that it was a pleasure.
My father has been in this hospital for more than 3 weeks.....from ICU, PCU and Telemetry. I cannot say enough about the amazing quality of service he has received! Every single nurse, doctor, radiology tech, dialysis nurse, respiratory therapist, cna, physical therapist, has truly been phenomenally kind and very professional! If you need a hospital in Antelope Valley- this is the place for you!! Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a fantastic hospital!
Patricia gives the answers to the modules, so you don't learn. In retrospect, she made me feel like a child. Patricia Forsythe is the education RN, she says I'll be there in 30 seconds, then disappears for 5 minutes, just dishonest and unethical. You should not give the answers to the new hires , they should learn from the modules. This educational RN can not spell my name either, WOW, she is the teacher. She swings her legs and sits on the table as well, ummm no. She doesn't have classroom etiquette. Also, you will be taught to smile for no apparent reason, this creates a phony happy feeling in this hospital.
