Parkview Huntington Hospital

I had an emergency room visit and was also admitted to the hospital for about 8 hours. The staff and place were very good. My problem is with the bill my insurance happened to be out of network therefore paying very little on the bill so I was left with a 16,000 dollar bill they had me fill out a financial application which I did and they told me I should at least get a discount well they informed me I was turned down because my insurance was out of network so no discount but if I wouldn't have had any insurance I would have gotten a discount for not having insurance doesn't make sense talked to like 4 or 5 different people who told me that didn't make sense just kept getting the run around. So much for the ( not for profit hospital)

ER doctor, McCown I believe and Brayden, the nurse were fantastic. Constantly updating me on tests results, plans, explaining everything, etc. It couldn't have went better given the circumstances.

The most awesome place ever the doctors in the er when I had my cyst removed were so nice

Best experience ever! They did put me on a grill in the ER. I still have the scars but I was transferred to a different hospital because of my 3rd Degree burns. But other than that, I had a great time. It did hurt to burn though. Would love to do it again

I have had to many bad experiences and never a good. They treat people like dirt and do not care about them at all.
