Just spent a week in cardiac ICU and the general cardiac ward. Every person involved in my treatment - whether doctor, nurse, caregiver, or volunteer - was exceptional. Way beyond just professional but kind and thorough. No one spoke down to me or over my head, and believe me, between my sister and I we asked dozens and dozens of questions. My sister was made comfortable and treated well. Any input I provided was listened to and added to the chart. I needed an immediate procedure on a Saturday, and a crew was brought in to support the doctor, even though these procedures are not normally done on the weekend. Exemplary care.

I had a good experience here. Man all the nurses and doctor were quick! And I had came in on a Saturday! Dr. Dirkx saw me in a quick timely manner and seemed really caring, all the nurses were quick to see me and were all really nice. Their ultrasounds are better at catching really early pregnancies than planned Parenthood. Were a few people in the lobby when I first checked in, lobby wasn't swamped but it wasn't super empty either, yet I was seen really soon. Even the receptionists were nice

I have better chance of fixing my problems at home than this joke of a “hospital.” Makes me wonder what their definition of “emergency” is because they definitely treated everyone as if they’re having a regular wait at a Starbucks. This was my first time in the ER. I yawned and my jaws LOCKED so I had my mouth wide open for 2 HOURS before finally deciding to go to the hospital. The nurses knew I had my jaw stuck open for 2 hours already but they intended on letting me wait for a couple more hours. I know my case isn’t life-threatening but it seriously hurt and it would only take the doctor a minute to fix my case and just send me home aready. The place wasn’t even busy!! After waiting for one hour, my mom got tired of waiting and she fixed my jaw for me in the restroom! Literally drove to the ER at 4 AM for NO REASON. Also, the lady with curly red hair and freckles was rude. She did not greet my mother and I, did not ask for my name, and just grabbed my arm and hands to take heart rate measurements instead of asking for them. Since she didn’t even ask for my name, what if she entered the wrong information for a different patient? Bottom line is STAY AWAY.

I've spent a lot of time there with my father through his cardiac issues and vascular issues. They were wonderful great people. One of the best hospitals I've been to for any reason.

The ER Doctors are NOT covered by most insurance companies. Even though the PeaceHealth network may show as “In Network”, the ER Doctors are actually independant of the hospital and NOBODY will tell you this. I have excellent insurance with Blue Cross that has been accepted by specialists all over the city. PeaceHealth ER Drs. have not signed a contract with the hospital, and no one at check in or anywhere in the process, AFTER THEY VIEW YOUR INSURANCE CARD and everything, will tell you they are a totally different “out of network” bill seperate from the hospital until you receive the MASSIVE bill with no insurance discount. RIPOFF! Don’t get me wrong, the Doctors are good, but so is my insurance and from now on I will go to a place where the hospital and their Doctors get along.
