Worst experience ever. I came in earlier today due to having fainting spells and other scary symptoms, literally collapsed several times while walking up to the hospital, and wasn’t seen for over five hours. I understand that they are busy, but when I was finally seen, I was taken into a room where I was asked to put on a robe, and then wasn’t checked on again for an hour. After having to go and ask a nurse if I’d be seen at some point, this doctor strolls in with his nose up in the air and has this demeanor like he was some 20 year old college kid in a fraternity.. he tells me that my blood work all looked good, shrugs his shoulders, and literally just says “yeah so I dunno”. He then checked my heart with his stethoscope without letting me know what he’s doing, and after a couple seconds I asked if he wanted me to breathe normal or take deep breaths, he snaps back “normal” like I was being annoying. After all that, he tells me he’s going to go grab paper work. Another 20 minutes go by and nothing, so my husband and I went to the nurses station again and told them we needed to leave and if it was necessary for us to still be there. She goes “he went to see TWO other patients” but he literally was right behind her laughing and joking around with other staff. Super long review, and I’ve never ever left a review in my life, but this trash ER was so horrendous I thought I’d share my experience. Go to legacy.

Its been a couple of years since I have been there and I always wanted to send a big thanks to the team there. Over the years I had to go in and get my arterial fibrillation treated which means they had to put me out then shock my heart back into rhythm. Due to this I in many cases was more at the top of the list but if it was not a serious afib I could wait which is is ok. When that happened the room had lots of people and we don't know what ambulances were bringing in. I am ok with waiting if it's not serious. The entire staff was great, nice and moved me through the process. Never had an issue. I try to be positive and honestly have some fun with it and I think they appreciate that as there are serious injuries in other rooms. Anyway the receptionists, RN's, Docs and the whole rest - Thank You! I am fixed from having Afibs after treatments and with humor I can say I miss you guys....kinda not :). Those who might think this is a shill post...not.

Absolute hell. Spent over three hours and saw my doctor for less than 12 minutes cumulative. Never saw the nurse. Requested blood draw but for what??? We got absolutely nothing. We literally had to walk out and see medical attention elsewhere. Do Not recommend.**The primary reason we left and why it was such a poor experience was the unprofessional and rude care we received. Making discriminatory remarks such as "we can habla spanish for her in espanol" as a joke was not appropriate. No one should receive that type of unprofessional and inappropriate discriminatory service. Peacehealth did not live up to it's Vision Statement that we saw on their walls. Needless to say, we are appalled.

I was visiting from out of town on another state insurance that only covered ER visits out of state. I hate clogging up emergency rooms with trivial things, but I had no choice, my 3 year old was screaming in pain from a terrible UTI. All the staff were so great. I apologized profusely for taking up their time and they were just so sweet about it. I wish I had gotten all of their names! We were in the waiting room for about 15 minutes and then they brought us back to a kids waiting area (a bit dirty but it was better than the main waiting room) and gave her a popsicle to help her go to the bathroom for a sample. They were very helpful in the front end of the ER department.

The nurses once we got back we're nice, but short staffed it seemed. We ended up waiting for nearly 3 hours for just a urine sample and prescription only for the lab to call me 2 days later to tell me the prescription that I just bought (out of pocket) would not help her UTI because of the strain it was so I needed to buy another one. That along with the wait was very frustrating.

Parking is terrible. Don't expect to get one of the 15 spots out in front of the ER, we had to park pretty far away in a parking garage which was inconvenient with a young child in pain in 90 degree weather.

Emergency RA staff Amanda has really bad attitude and no sympathy for patient. If it wasn't the nearest emergency hospital we wouldn't have chosen this hospital ! Legacy at Salmon Creek is definitely the better choice, best customer service !
