Great facility for my in and out procedure. Everything was explained in detail before going under and my partner was in the area to get all the information for my care when getting home. Will definitely use PMC again.
I was discharged from Floyd to PMC for a lithotripsy procedure the DR said to head over at noon. I got here and they brought me back to triage. The nurses seemed to busy gossiping back here then actually concerned with patients well being.. My nurse took my temp 102.3. I kept requesting tylenol or something for my unbearable headache. The nurse claimed she talked to dr and he said only fluids were to be given. When he showed up he look surprised that I had a fever and had to change my procedure to next day. So I was then admitted. I'm in awe that a nurse who is the front lines with patient who is suppose to be my advocate never even attempted to get an order for anything. I was in tears while they were putting me to sleep to place a stent. They wont let me shower. I will never return to this facility. .
Wow , this place is awesome. Son had surgery here and ALL staff were amazing. Nurses, CNA's, anesthesiologist, clerical staff, cleaning staff, and security guard ALL wonderful! The whole place is so clean and organized. From the moment you walk in to the time you leave, it is an amazing experience! I strongly recommend!
This facility was for the most part ok, but the stay was terrible. I was not informed as to plans for my recovery. They changed billing and messed up my billing address from 5 years prior. I gave them my driver's license and address and they still sent it to a 5 year old address. And for their convenience your partner can not come back before a procedure. With the fees my insurance and myself pay it should be more accommodating to what I want.
The experience the day of surgery was fine. Staff was good and facility was clean and seemed well managed. My problem is that they switched billing companies and I can't pay my anesthesia bill. I should not have to make a lot of phone calls to find out where to pay my bill because I don't want to be sent to collections. This is kind of ridiculous that no one there can tell me where my bill is being handled and that I haven't gotten a bill for months to tell me where to pay it.
