Charged $1000 to walk in and leave... We went because the girlfriend was having issues with her intestines... Stayed for about 2 hours in the emergency room still no definitive time to when they would see her so we left. A month later they sent us a bill for right around $1000. Still fighting with them not to pay the bill. On top of that I got a piece of dirt in my eye and scratched my cornea. It was a work comp issue my employer sent everything to the hospital day of the incident. A month later they send me a bill for $2300. I Called to resolve the issue twice the first time they said they didn't have the claim number so went back to my employer and got the claim number. Called again to give them the claim number and they had it the whole time. Too lazy to do their own job
Not a bad place. They have a great set up and wonderful pediatrics. Parking isn't too bad. The Dr my daughter saw was pretty eh. Eh is an understatement. She was bad. But the nursing staff are great. I think maybe it differs depending on provider.
I’ve had 3 babies at Platte Valley. The Labor and Delivery unit is wonderful. Patient nurses who are knowledgeable and don’t try and push anything you don’t want at you. Love how my doctor was on site so all they had to do was make a phone call over to them. I also had a couple ER visits for myself, an emergency surgery, and a couple visits with these kiddos. Always walk out knowing what’s going on and what the treatment plan (if needed) is.
Had to go to emergency with severe stomach pain, had to have surgery next day, could not ask for any better service and care. Everyone was wonderful and concerned about my health. We were from out of state, but if we go back to Colorado and became ill, we would go back to same hospital. THANK YOU STAFF
Have come to the ER on a few different occasions for my mom and had the pleasure of working with Scott Hackman, DO. All we needed was someone who would listen and help and Dr. Hackman did just that and got her an expedited visit with a specialist the next day. So pleased and so thankful!
