My experience at Portsmouth Hospital was very comforting. I was going through a very difficult time and the nurses and doctors treated me with great respect and made me feel more comfortable. I was on the 3rd floor surgical unit and Lauren, Cynthia, and Amanda were my primary nurses. I cannot say enough positive things about them. They are great at what they do and they were always available when I needed them. Thank you again!
Awesome experience over the past years here. The pre/post op nurses, Cheryl and Allison to name a couple are so amazing, I can’t even put into words just how genuinely caring they have been towards me. Brendan my finance guy, he deals with my many questions, but never gets annoyed or rushes me. Thank you for your support and kindness during some pretty stressful and scary times in my life.
We had an amazing experience in the maternity wing at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. With it being our first babe, we weren’t quite sure what the birthing process would look like. All of the nursing staff and doctors made us feel 100% comfortable and cared for. We couldn’t have asked for a better team-they were friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and supportive. Thank you so much!
Hate to negativity review a hospital but I was there for literally 30 minutes with random excruciating neck pain and saw the doctor for 1 minute. She told me to take Advil, which was fine. They ran no tests, she touched my neck told me it was likely from all my coughing (recovering from pneumonia). I payed my $200 co-pay then much to my surprise I received a $1200 bill. Outrageous. I have great health insurance. One bill from the hospital and one from the doctor directly. I have been paying it off since. I tried working with their financial department for weeks because my natural path told me that bill was unethical and illegal but had zero luck. The natural path doctor mentioned she had a similar problem at a hospital and after reporting them they corrected it. The patient advocate was also absolutely no help!!!! Incredibly unreasonable.
Have been using the walk-in clinic instead and love them.
The reception area was very crowded, they handled it very well and all moved quickly. Off to radiology were everything went on time and service was perfect. The nurses to the receptionist all were very friendly and nice. Off on the 18th for more testing.
