Portsmouth Regional Hospital

Going to Portsmouth Hospital's Imaging Services for an annual mammogram is not something to dread! The staff has your best interests at heart and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. My technician was Kim. She was by far the best one yet! Such a caring, thoughtful, and sincere young woman. Portsmouth Hospital is very lucky to have her! And she loves her job so much she travels an hour and a half to get to work. Kudos to Kim!

Went into the ER late at night last weekend. Walked in without any wait, was given a room and cared for right away, attending doctor saw me after only 5 minutes. Everyone was super nice and attentive. In the end I was transferred to the maternal ward, which is equally awesome and nurses and doctors were super nice and attentive despite the fact that someone was having a baby in the room next to me. Best hospital experience so far!

Simple and quick scheduling. Checked in within 5 minutes of arrival. Did have to wait for about 10 minutes before being seen, but that’s within realm of reasonable wait time. Everything was smooth and easy. Given waiting areas are well stocked with snacks and beverages. I also distinctly remember how the assessment rooms were decorated with personal touches. Appreciate them.

Everything was great. My nurses were caring and attentive. Housekeeping was great. I was not happy with the second shift nursing care on Saturday night

Great visit. Everyone extremely professional and accommodating. Dr Swartz bedside manner is tremendous. Professional, knowledgeable and direct. After years of dealing with this office it is very worthwhile to make a trip once a year from the Florida keys to make use of this very helpful doctor.
