I recently spent time at holy cross hospital, the care I received was excellent. I was treated with dignity and respect and kindness. There were a few nurses that I believe went above and beyond while taking care of me. Nurse Louis Who is also called Louis Louis was fantastic he cleaned my hands before i ate, he also talked tenderly to me. There was also nurse Emma who cared for me she was gentle and understanding. I also had nurse Maria, she helped me dress with under garments, she turned an awkward situation into a playful time. There were many more people who worked with me while I was there, all of whom did a great job caring for me. I have zero complaints with how I was treated and cared for. Not kidding...Exceptional care By exceptional people. I have spent time in many hospitals and Holy Cross is the best hospital I have ever stayed in.””” Thanks to the awesome people ‘“””

My mom was admitted after an ER visit and with in a week she had surgery to correct severe spinal stenosis. Everything seemed fine until she got in to the pcu or known as progressive care unit. She came out of surgery and her nurse seemed like he didn’t read her chart through( I Know He Didn’t) cause he was dosing medication wrong. He didn’t know what she has already been taking ... shift change happens and the night gets a little better.( thank the lord). It was a rough night ( because the bed is BROKEN) but it was a lot smoother that the afternoon. (Cause we didn’t move my mom). Come morning shift change the new nurse disappears late on medication over an hour pt comes in and starts to move the bed controls KNOWING THAT THE BED IS BROKEN! And turns around and pretty much says oops we’ll get someone on it.... it is now mid morning and still seems like it takes the nurse forever to get on top of her work .... it shouldn’t take a charge nurse and a CNA to find her to tell her to do her job .... over all I’m done will never bring my mom back here....

3 years ago today (Sunday morning) went on a joy ride with few friends up Angeles crest, and came down with a helicopter, but don't remember that part. I woke up 2 days later from induced coma at holy cross mission hills hospital. The doctors and the nurses were amazing and the journey to recovery was made extra easy with all the caring staff at the rehab facility, I wish I could recall every one's name and thank them one by one. Thank you for helping me back on my journey in life.

I came here for surgery and the hospitalist dr kama is a joke she lied on all my paperwork stating she had seen me and i was fine but she never came into my room and she tried to have me discharged and i needed a blood transfusion at the same time. On my last day there all of the nurses turned on me and no one wanted to take care of me. On the first 3 nights i had 4 nurses and on my last night i only had one nurse the basically shoved me out the front door alone and cut open. All i could do was cry and cry i left feeling so depressed all i did was cry. I Hate Hate Hate this hospital.
