Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Warren Campus. I was checked into the ER promptly. Great Hospital very attentive! Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to the name of the doctor(s). The nurse and staff were very attentive and professional.

Unfortunately, the neurosurgeon I needed to see for my back injury was unable to treat me at that location. Therefore, I was transferred by ambulance which was a great ride to Ascension Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus. Into the ER. The doctor I spoke with was very professional. Unfortunately, I only seen him once the rest of the time I dealt with a nurse on the midnight shift. Nevertheless, there's a board in the room that has your plan of care provider, nurses, etc. Apparently the nurse was too incompetent to fill out that information. Therefore I wasn't able to get her name. I am normally very self sufficient but I actually needed assistance and she refused to come in to help me. She was also plain rude and condescending. I wish they would have waited to transfer me to this hospital's ER until the morning time. Once the day shift ED staff came on they were helpful and professional.

Chapter 2
Ascension Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus. I was finally transferred to a private room I cannot say enough about the staff. I know this time the names of a few staff members unfortunately I did not catch the name of doctor. Nurse Monika, Gary and PCT: Mecca they were absolutely awesome! Dietary and phlebotomy were great as well.

I came to this hospital with Upper and Lower back pain, I was sat in a hallway for over 2(hours mind you I’m still sitting in hallway as I write this review) Many Dr. Approach you and want to discuss the reason for visiting/ well first off I’m in the Hallway and not comfortable explaining my illness in the presence of everyone. So, they wheel me to have a X-ray which I told them I’m having back pain they register me and abdominal X-ray on top of which they wanted me to undress there and then roll me back in the hallway with just the gown on, no thank you I’ll get dressed ma’am. Once I get dressed I’m wheeled back to the same spot in the hallway I was sitting at was told I needed a urine sample which I supplied and due to sitting In the hallway. Now I have company me and my urine are currently waiting to be seen now. This is the ABSOLUTELY WORSE HOSPITAL in the Southfield Mi area, if you’re ready to DIE then this is the ER for you but if you want to LIVE it’s worth traveling a little further so you can get the Treatment You and your Insurance deserves..

I really want to give this hospital and it’s ER a zero this place needs new management or to be closed. I checked in online today two hours prior to coming back after waiting over 4 hours and not being seen just to get turned away since they claim online check in it’s only between 2-9am and that wait is now again 4-5 hours. . That is horrible there is not any sense of urgency at this place at all. And always extremely slow.

Everyone was friendly and constantly let me know what's going on or what to expect next. However the nurse who snatched my if tube and tape from my arm was extremely rude. No explanation of paperwork just kind of threw it at me and then seem more interested in dismissing me rather than making sure I was okay to leave. The doctor was great, the respiratory person was great, the original nurse was great but that last lady...smh.

Jan 8th 2019. I had an MRI. Everyone was very helpful & kind. When I pulled up to valet I was greeted by a pleasant attendant, entering I was greeted with a smile a GOOD MORNING from the janitor mopping the floor. The receptionist in the MRI waiting room was so pleasant. The MRI technicians caring and kind. After my MRI, which was not pleasant for me, the tech helped me 2 the dressing room, gave me water, and I sat there trying 2 get myself composed enough 2 leave. I could not have asked for more caring, helpful workers. It was very cold out, with strong wind and the valet who brought my car around made me feel special BIG THANK YOU TO ALL...Gloria Evanski
