I should have died in a car accident, I broke 3 lumbar vertebrae and nearly severed my right leg. I was rushed from Monroe (past death valley) and straight to Prov evt. My care team was amazing. The neuro surgeon that did my 5 vertebrae fusion and the surgeon that reconstructed my leg and re-attached my nerve did a great job. The physical therapist that listened to me when I said I was going to walk out of that place and the rest of the nursing staff was amazing. There was a couple things that I could gripe about but in the scheme of things I lived and can walk. A big thank you to the staff and doctors that help us daily. You guys are the true super heroes.

Horrible, wrong medical coding on emergency visits. Check your statements even with insurance. Medical costs are on the rise and we have to be diligent. I was charged with self-inflicted injury for a pinched off finger in a metal chair. Guaranteed it wasn't self-inflicted. My insurance denied the claim and providence sent me to collections. If you have a choice do not go to a Providence owned facility!

They are always so nice and kind when my kidneys act up

Overcrowded and understaffed. Waited 2½ hours, in pain, just to get into a room, and another 45-60 minutes before being seen by an actual doctor.

I am being forced to give this place one star because my review won't post without it. The reality is that I would give them 0 stars if that was a choice. I have had two experiences with this hospital...one in December of 2012 and most recently on July 13, 2019.... and they have both been substandard. I would be curious to see how many complaints have been filed against them and what exactly is done after the complaints are received. My grandson needed a couple of stitches on his forehead and it was such a chore for the "doctor" that she decided to use glue instead. If they can't handle a couple of stitches then what exactly is happening to the patients who are in serious need of medical attention. I'll take my chances from now on and drive from Stanwood to Seattle for doctors that possess the confidence and experience necessary to provide quality health care. Your life is in their hands and that is a terrifying reality.
