I went to Ray County Memorial this morning for a heart scan. The people were all very helpful and kind from the moment my husband and I walked in to the moment we walked out. Will most definitely return to this hospital if I need test again in the future.

Lady at the front is rude. Went to the restroom came back my woman was taking back into a room. They refused to let me go back even though I was sitting with her and checked her in. The nurse was rude also. Very poor attitude from everyone. Will not be coming. That’s for sure!

Your experience here probably would depend on why you are there. The physical therapy department is great. The ER is sometimes good and sometimes mediocre. It never seems overcrowded. The hospital has had many updates. They have one of the most relaxing MRI's ever. Actually getting a test done here is pretty low stress if you live close by.

I had my Husband take me to RCMH ER, in May of this year because I was having severe abdominal pain. I had had pain comparative to this before, but this pain was not going away. I was quickly taken back to an exam room where the nurses (some of the best!!) and Dr. Rose worked on finding the source of my pain. All the while, they all listened and showed great care and compassion as they were treating me, and tried to make me as comfortable as they possibly could, given the circumstances. Upon results from a CT Scan, they found that I need an appendectomy ASAP. They set up surgery immediately, and a hour and a half later, Dr. Mrosak was working on getting my appendix untwisted from my intestines. Upon beginning my "wake up" from the anesthesia, I was groggy and very anxious to go home, but due to minor complications from the surgery, I had to be admitted. After the anesthesia wore off, I began to experience referred pain in my right shoulder and seriously thought I was dying. The fabulous nurses tried anything and everything and kept in constant contact with Dr. Mrosak for suggestions on what they could do for pain. They worked tirelessly together and helped my cranky, hard-headed self to finally get through the beginning stages of surgery recovery. I must say that their nursing staff is definitely top notch, and I sincerely hope they never have to deal with another "me" again... (HaHa) I seriously highly recommend our Hospital to those that need emergency care and/or specialized care. Top notch Doctors and Nurses who are out of this world!

I went there while I was pregnant and I need to get some fast due to being in so much pain and I literally could not breath. The er doctor made the comment as to why did I even come there he can’t save the baby if it dies. I left before I was even seen because he made it very clear he was not going to help. My family then rushed me to liberty. I did get ahold of the board and made it very clear if something was not done about him legal action would be taken.
