I delivered at Resolute about a year ago and had the best nurses and would give them above 5 stars. They make you feel important and treat you like family. However, I do think Resolute should have a policy for the newborn photographers. The first few days of your baby’s life is tough. So when they have just fallen asleep for the first time and the photographer comes in, takes the baby, undresses them and starts taking shots just so your baby starts screaming for them to say “she’s hungry, I’ll come back later”, it’s very frustrating and could definitely set off an emotional, hormonal, sleep deprived new mother. They should not be allowed to do this service unless mother agrees. And I’m only writing this review now because it didn’t just happen to me. My sister just delivered here two weeks ago and had the exact same experience. So please beware of the photographers if you decide to deliver here. If you’re not interested in any photos. Let them know before they decide to try and wake up a sleeping baby. (I’d give them a 1 star rating if their website or Facebook page allowed me to do so).
