This hospital is terrible! I'm literally at the hospital right now, writing this review because of how bad it is. They make you wait so long. The doctors/nurses come by every 40 min to do simple things and not tell anything. And when I step out, I see all them just sitting around and talking amongst each other. Just terrible. If you live in Williamsburg just take them to Sentara Hospital. At least there, they don't make you wait 4 hours.

My experience with this Hospital has been excellent. Both Doctors and Nurses have been so helpful and professional in dealing with my father and his situation. I could not be happier with the experience I am having with Riverside Doctor's Hospital, Williamsburg!

I had a horrible experience at the ER. While some of the staff members were friendly, one man, not sure of his name, title, nor if he even worked for Riverside directly, shouted at me and discriminated against me for my religion. It was absolutely unacceptable. I was taken to this hospital for mental health purposes. The last thing I needed was to be treated that way....especially by a male. Because of PTSD, I do have flashbacks from traumatic experiences. Clearly, some of the staff members are not equipped to deal with certain mental health issues. They were called by medics and officers beforehand and given my history. This should have prompted the team to be prepared. So, I'm at the point where I feel calling for help to protect myself is nonsensical. I've been having to see my therapist more than usual because the man who blasted me put me in a position where I literally cannot get his face or words out of my head. I have contacted patient advocates and no one is returning my calls. Let's just say that I am gathering up as many documents as possible. It's time to stand up to these hospitals because if we do not, changes will never be made.

Veterans beware. They just want to transfer a veteran to the VA hospital because they are afraid they won't get paid. The social worker is very pushy on this issue even though my spouse came in due to massive chest pains.

Brought a someone in to be seen for serious medical problem only to have her blantently embarrassed and rejected out in the hallway by one of the attending ER doctors. Her assessment and diagnosis was announced in front of the entire ER which included other patients, nurses and one other ER physician. She should have been taken into a close room for assessment. HIPAA violation???? Her entire bedside manner was unbelievable. I know there are cameras in that ER and I certainly would suggest the Administration take a look at the treatment this patient encountered. The nurses had more concern for her safety. Thank you to the one ER doctor whom took the time to address my concern of her very public diagnosis.
