Emergency room doctors were high energy, nurses station was clear, the intake was efficient and they kept me up to date on moms condition. They respected moms right to dignity and to use no life support ☘️

Do not go to St. Francis for anything other an burns. My mother went into the hospital for pneumonia and we could not get any doctor to call us to tell us what was going on with her and her care. I was out of the country for work and my husband was listed by my mother as next of kin but never once did they communicate anything with us. One day my husband went in to visit her and they had discharged her without telling any of her family that they were doing this or where they were sending her.
They sent her deathly ill, (literally, she died 1.5 weeks later) to a nursing home that was not equipped to take care of people who have multiple health issues that lead to her dying.
So avoid this hospital and their lack of communication and lack of understanding of how ill a patient can be, by all means!
