Very disappointing and Really really bad service here. I went here it was 2 in the morning for the emergency, because i got really hurt stomach ache and I dont know where to go. So i decided to get to this hospital and was expecting for the treatment. after the register process. They called me and asked me for what is going on. And they brought me to the room where i should wait for the doctor. after 40 minutes and the doctor had not come yet, i decided to exit the hospital and i told the nurse inside the hospital that i felt more comfortable to wait at my apartment. BUT, the nurse ditch me by saying “are you still gonna wait for the doctor or leave?” and i just left.

After a couple days i received a bill mailed to me for $250 “even i did not see the doctor face” I decided to call the hospital in order to ask what do i need to pay or if i could get any convince for the bill. On the other hand after they pulled my data they told me my bill is actually $850 because i was using the facility to wait in the room as well as because it is an Emergency.

I was shocked at the moment because I was only laying on the bed and was waiting. But in the conversation the person told me that the only way to pay is if i am paying right now by the phone i will get 30% discount or i can pay with payment plan. I do not have any payment plan And after all i just decided to pay the $600 after the discount. Even-though it does not make any sense to me and to be honest i feel very disappointed.

To be honest i feel like i got robbed by the hospital.But, hopefully this review could give everybody clear explanation of my complaint

It is the best hospital that I have ever seen. Here doctors treat the patients with love and care. I have no words to say but seriously I want to recommend this hospital to cancer patients.

How does this place only have a rating of 3.3
I have extreme anxiety disorder and im a hypochondriac .. For a while i thought something was wrong with me almost three times a week. They have never judged me or been rude. They treat me just like any other patient and seem genuinely concerned about my anxiety and I always leave feeling better with however they treat me medically . i went there yesterday for a uti and didnt make it today to the pharmacy to get the antibiotics they prescribed because i got out of work too late. So i was feeling really sick from the uti and having a panic attack. So i went back to the hospital and they treated me for the uti and gave me a stronger antibiotic to hold me over til i can go to the pharmacy tomorrow morning. They also treated my anxiety. I left feeling 100% better then when i came. All the drs and nurses are kind and this place is definitely more then a hospital. Its an experience of kind human beings working to make us feel not only physically better, but emotionally. I know this is long and crazy lol but this place has had a huge impact on my life .

The medical service was fine, if a bit institutional, but the billing has been a horrific nightmare. went in for one visit to Nicholas Mast, Ortho surgeon. I was billed for three separate charges. Two went through insurance without a problem but the third was billed to the wrong insurance. I called and gave SFMH the correct insurance billing information, but they have bungled the submission to insurance such that it is now past the submission cutoff and insurance is rejecting. SFMH's billing department/customer service department has not been helpful in resolving this even when presented with evidence that the other charges went through insurance without a problem. Horrific customer service.
