ER got me help right away. All the staff in the ER and Hospital were super helpful and caring. I would definitely recommend!
I really used to like this hospital. They were very good, efficient, and helpful. Went in 2 days ago with severe edema in my lower legs. Sent me home with lasix and potassium to help reduce the painful swelling. Went back today as swelling has not gone down a bit and the bone pain was unbearable and I was in tears. Nurse practitioner Clay Salmon insinuated I was a drug seeker and sent me on my way. Edema can cause joint pain and I'm pretty sure I'll never return. He advised Advil. Advil makes the swelling worse and doesnt even touch the pain.
All drug abusers have ruined prescribers for people that actually need it. Hell, apparently I'm seeking drugs when I have a purse full of Xanax. I take it as prescribed. Never again will I be humiliated for seeking help.
Needless to say, 19 hours later and still in horrible pain.
They just denied my daughter a mri!!!
She has severe thyroid issues along with other health issues.
I used to like this hospital,but now I am second guessing.
If she gets sicker because of this I will be contacting a lawyer.
The Physical and occupational and speech therapy department with her very very awesome!
The check-in clerk repeatedly pressured me to falsify documents. I refused, causing a scramble because she was not prepared with the documents she was required to have, causing my check in to take over 20 minutes. And this was with the main bulk of the paperwork completed at home and brought in, ostensibly to save time.
The doctor himself was 15 minutes late to the appointment. He only spent 15 minutes with me and charged $60 for a copay! Who knows what the final bill will be?
Some tests were ordered. The doctor’s checkout person told me she didn’t know how much those tests would cost, but told me I could call Billing and they would know. She gave me their number.
I called Billing and was treated rudely. I was told that the billing department has no way to know how much things cost! Further, she and her supervisor both told me that the checkout person is a liar and that she does know how much everything costs and that she should have been able to tell me.
Once again, this corporation is way too big to be managed. Nobody has a clue what they are doing or what anyone else is doing. They do everything in their power to pass the buck by claiming ignorance, making accusations against their coworkers, and just generally being immoral and hateful people. This company only cares about money and getting that money through fraud and deceit, hidden behind a veil of bureaucracy and stupidity.
