The check-in clerk repeatedly pressured me to falsify documents. I refused, causing a scramble because she was not prepared with the documents she was required to have, causing my check in to take over 20 minutes. And this was with the main bulk of the paperwork completed at home and brought in, ostensibly to save time.
The doctor himself was 15 minutes late to the appointment. He only spent 15 minutes with me and charged $60 for a copay! Who knows what the final bill will be?
Some tests were ordered. The doctor’s checkout person told me she didn’t know how much those tests would cost, but told me I could call Billing and they would know. She gave me their number.
I called Billing and was treated rudely. I was told that the billing department has no way to know how much things cost! Further, she and her supervisor both told me that the checkout person is a liar and that she does know how much everything costs and that she should have been able to tell me.
Once again, this corporation is way too big to be managed. Nobody has a clue what they are doing or what anyone else is doing. They do everything in their power to pass the buck by claiming ignorance, making accusations against their coworkers, and just generally being immoral and hateful people. This company only cares about money and getting that money through fraud and deceit, hidden behind a veil of bureaucracy and stupidity.

Other than the fact that this place is expensive, I would go there everyday. Talk about pampering. 2 Liters of Saline IV stopped three days of sleepless diarrhea in what seemed like a heartbeat. I'm still waiting for the bill to see if they charged me for the stool sample (that they knew I wouldn't be able to give). Also, the PA left a very small needle mark on my arm that is going to make it look like I am a heroin addict for the next day or two. Can I get a note for that?

Doctor bowser was a little cold for my liking. Unfortunately it's not the service that was the huge issue it's the price! I went to this hospital and got a 11000$ bill before insurance and 2000$ after. Had the same problem and I went to HCA manorah and not only did they correctly diagnose my problem my bill was 200$!!!! What the heck? HCA ran more tests than saint lukes. This is not a bad hospital just way too expensive, you can get the same or better service for much less in the leawood area.

If I could give this hospital less than 1 star I would. The staff are redundant, they give you the run around about nothing. They don’t care if you’re in pain unless you’re old. I’ve been in the waiting room for over 4 hours and I still haven’t been seen. I will never go back here. I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to anyone especially if you’re in pain, they won’t help you.

My experience at the St Luke’s South emergency room wass like a Saturday Night Live Comedy Skit.
One day a spring broke on a storage unit door at Public Storage. We went to St Luke’s South.
They asked what happened. My wife told them. They asked her to leave the room so that I could tell them “what really happened”. I reapeated the truth. I had even signed paperwork at Public Storage about the incident. They suggested that I report my wife’s abuse to the police. That is they assumed that we lied and encouraged me to report their version of reality.
She came back in and asked them to numb my face before giving me stitches. They lied and accused her of threatening the doctor. They banned het for life, didn’t numb my face and left me with a scar.
They wrote up a false report about my wife and the substandard care. The only abuse was from the arrogant, incompetent, lying staff.
