everyone in the ambulatory care/outpatient surgery were great!! They all made me feel very comfortable and did a great job!!! thank you to the whole outpatient staff and Doctor Rayner..I would recommend Schoolcraft or patient to anyone in need of surgery

ZERO STARS! The worst experience I've ever had with surgery. Dr. Galey has no bedside manner whatsoever. He rushes you in and rushes you out. I should have listen to the majority of the people in the community who said DO NOT GO TO HIM! The people I did listen to I thought their opinion would matter in this community, but come to find out they are part of the nasty STC group that supports him and the hospital. Snakes in the Grass. He's the highest paid surgeon in this hospital and I don't know what for!? I am in SUCH HORRIBLE PAIN after just a simple meniscus tear that was done in 2018. I walk with a cane and can hardly stand for any length of time. I now have to go have more surgery to have it repaired AGAIN! I need to have my other knee repaired as well, but too afraid to have anyone do it... I would never ever have him touch me or anyone I know again. He killed a women last year as well.. Much less go to SCMH for ANYTHING unless I absolutely have to. I have to say tho the hospital staff/ nurses are outstanding at their jobs! Felicia is a wonderful young lady. The UP has some of the worst doctors in the state. Makes you wonder why they came up here? Are they running from something down state..? BEWARE!

The care that was provided by The nurses (Cindy, Felicia Ruth) and staff was exceptional. The entire staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. We received a call from Felicia the next day to check on my husband to check his pain level and do a follow up. The surgery area from check in to check out was well organized, clean, and up to date.
