We went here a week ago because my boyfriend was very sick and had a spot on his stomach that looked like a boil. The doctor said it was a fat deposit and gave him nothing for his sinus infection. Here we are a week later at The Med, where the spot on his stomach was lanced open and treated. Also he was finally given something for his sinuses. The Med took great care of us today. $800.00 bill from Scott & White and for nothing. All of the nurses and doctors weren’t very nice. The doctor acted like he didn’t even wanna touch my boyfriend. Hospitals aren’t what they should be and we won’t be back to this one ever again.
This review is for the surgery department. All I can say is wow....every single person we came into contact with today was both caring and professional. It began with the clerk that checked us in and carried on up to the gentleman who closed the car door after assisting my husband in the vehicle. I hope I never have to visit this department again but if we should I know we will be cared for professionally.
Great Doctors and Nurses. Everyone is nice, friendly, and professional. They take great care of my one and only most precious wife. It is always clean and in good order. I highly recomend the services they offer here.
My daughter went to the clinic for UTI and saw a physician's asst. Paid her $30 copay as expected. Two months later I received a bill for ADDITIONAL $20 because they were billing the Physician's Asst as a SPECIALIST. First of all, a PA isn't even an MD, let alone a SPECIALIST. She didn't see a specialist, which is why she was only charged the $30 copay. They fraudulently billed as a Specialist AFTER the fact. I called their billing thinking it would be an easy fix. They were EXTREMELY rude like they were bill collectors, and refused to fix it. So I called my insurance to help me. United Health Care (my insurance) agreed with me that it was incorrect and fraudulent to charge Specialist fee for a PA. My UHC put me on a 3 way call to straighten it out and again, billing was VERY rude to us and told us we had to call the clinic. My UHC rep then called clinic, which then said, "we can't change this you need to speak to billing". We were caught in a loop but my UHC rep was SO patient and SO good that she kept trying. Almost 2 hours later, a sane person spoke to us and said they would get back to us after looking into it. They did call about 2 hours later but unfortunately they called my daughter since she was the patient. They told her they would remove the $20 over charge. She didn't get the name of the caller since she's only 19 and didn't realize how important that name would be. Well here I am 2 months later getting an OVER DUE bill for the $20 fraudulent charge. I'm having to start the whole process over again. United Health Care advised me to never use this clinic again since this billing practice seems to be unscrupulous. I spoke to my Aggie Parent Group about this and several parents have had almost identical experiences. If this PA was truly a Specialist, they would have charged the $50 Specialist copay from beginning so they KNOW what they are doing. They bill you later hoping you'll just pay and this is so dishonest. I advise you to NEVER use BSW because you never know what kind of bill you will receive after the fact!!
My husband was in the hospital for 3 days . He got the best care and treatment that anyone could want . The nurses were beyond wonderful caring for him .
