Stayed here a while back with my mother and not only were the nurses great but my CNA Micheal provided top of the line care to my mother. If my mother needed anything Micheal was on top of it and we never once felt like it was a burden to ask. It was also very sweet of Micheal to sing to my mother when she wasn't feeling the best It's something her and I will never forget. Thank you all for doing an excellent job!

The Er staff was awesome The floor staff Degrading demeaning horrible nurses. I have never been made to feel so bad about myself. Nurse's are supposed to help people not humiliate them

My best friend is dying of lung cancer and this is where he came and we were all treated wonderfully. they took excellent care of him made sure he was comfortable made sure he was clean make sure he was happy. His daughter and myself were allowed to be there 24/7. The staff the nurses, housekeeping the kitchen ,everyone made us feel so comfortable and so at home. even though we were so sad we felt comforted by everyone at this hospital. When asked how you're treated at northern lights sebasticook hospital I would say with dignity respect and kindness.

Three weeks ago I went to the hospital for an injury. ER did the bare minimum, but okay, maybe an Ace bandage and crutches are appropriate. I do all the follow up with my primary care and she feels I need to have an MRI and referral to ortho. I get a referral to Dr. Fullwood, who by the way is not an ortho, at Sebasticook Valley, but he is supposedly qualified to provide appropriate medical care for my injury. Now I am two weeks into a painful injury with little to no improvement. Dr. Fullwood says he agrees with my primary care that I need an MRI and then we should reconvene. His nurse, who seems more interested in trying to look cute in her scrubs than paying attention to detail, brings me a paper with an appointment for April11 at 1:00. She says this is my MRI appointment. If my insurance does not issue the prior authorization, they will call me. She then hands me a boot and says, here you go. Fast forward to April 09th. I get a call confirming the appointment. I get my time off from work approved. I show up at appointment to be told that no one ever sent in an order for an MRI, sorry. Yeah, no. I will be sending a bill to Sebasticook Valley for my time and travel. My time is valuable, and I have now been in pain for almost 3 weeks with an obvious injury and little to no improvement in my condition. Between my experiences with the hospital and my primary care practice I would say to people head west and south if you want good medical care because you will not find it in and around Newport, Maine. Which is shame because it is so needed in this area and many people do not have the resources to travel to better care.

Personally, I've only come to this ER for tooth pain/gum infection due to impacted wisdom teeth, they don't really do much to help with the pain, but whatever I get it, 'haha I'm in my twenties I don't feel pain or am a drug abuser'-- anyways, at least I can get antibiotics, and in and out very quickly. Come after midnight to be seen quickly.
