Sierra Vista Hospital

I want to thank every staff member from ER to OR. After suffering a month my wonderful Surgeon and his team have made my life so much better. The ER staff is amazing. They are very friendly, helpful, and they just get it. They understand and do everything in their power to try and make it better. So many people talked badly about this hospital. Yes, it may be small, but all the love, care, and support that comes from the people there make it huge. I love it. Thank you all so very much.

I have been a lifelong resident of Sierra county I went to that hospital when the nuns run it why are they wasting all the money building a new hospital when they should be spending it on good personnel doctors nurses mental health people people that care about what they're doing

This town will never see growth until they invest in this hospital. Nobody wants to live somewhere that they know if they are faced with a life and death situation their best bet is 70 miles south. If you love this area and would love to see the new hospital succeed then make sure your voice is heard. The only voices being heard right now are the idiot newagehippywannabes downtown, they have continued to complain about EVERYthing but offer no solutions. This hospital MUST be a priority or we all lose, and some of us, it may be our life we lose. This hospital needs good leadership and support of the community. Shameful how run down and poorly run it is.

Professional, expedient care by Dr Hochhauser when I brought my wife in for an eye infection. Very impressed with the care we received on a Saturday night.
