The medical facility is generally not very busy, even though operations seem to run as slow as if they were severely impacted. To be fair, it is a small facility, and it seems as though the facility is limited on staff, equipment and training. That being said, it would be better to seek a larger and better staffed / equipped facility in the area (maybe French Hospital by Dignity Health on Johnson Avenue).

It is incredibly important at this facility to ensure up-front that they are able to provide services BEFORE providing identification, insurance, and especially before allowing yourself to be admitted. This facility may not have the appropriate means to treat all circumstances that would warrant a visit to the emergency room; you can save yourself the trouble and seek a better facility.

Having been recommended by a primary care physician to seek immediate medical attention we visited this facility and did not consider checking if they were capable of providing the services required; as most patients would not have consider that either. The facility admitted us after much waiting in a seemingly empty waiting room, into a back area where it appeared that nothing else was going on. It seemed that bringing us into the back area was done purely so we could be classified as "admitted" into the facility.

Only after being admitted, were we informed by a medical doctor directly that the medical facility did not have the proper training and equipment to provide treatment, and we were dismissed from the facility with no treatment. The medical provider then proceeded to bill us for Level 3 Emergency Room services when the only "service" provided was patient triage; a service that has to occur before anything else regardless of the circumstances and should have been the stage at which the facility stated that the admission process could not continue. The facility staff did not stop to consider if admitting a patient meant they needed to be sure they could actually treat them, however, the medical provider did ensure they would receive their payment for "services" in full.

I needed to have lab work and and EKG done for an upcoming surgery. THe check in was simple and fast. My blood work was completed within 5 minutes of being checked in. I was taken to have the EKG within 3 minutes of having my blood work done and I was finished with that within 10 minutes. My total time in the hospital was 35 min. The person who checked me in, the person that did my blood work and the one that did my EKG were professional, helpful and very nice. I have never had such a smooth, quick experience at any hospital.

Our son was born here, and if it weren't for the outstanding performance of the Sierra Vista labor and delivery staff, Emergency NICU staff, and staff from my wife's DR. office Creating Harmony, our boy would not have died during delivery. I want to specifically thank Nurse Rebecca for going out of her way to get my wife in there for induction, as they said later our boy would not have made it if my wife's water broke at home. The "Mommy and Me" floor was amazing and extremely helpful as well.
I was very frustrated with Sierra Vista prior to induction because we kept getting kicked out after getting to the hospital due to not being a priority induction (which was understandable, but frustrating), but ALL the staff soon proved to be the best. Thank you all SO much.

Staff is highly unprofessional. They don't tend to you unless you are someone outside of Medicare. In my experience, they purposefully lied to me saying if I self-discharged myself I would have to pay out of pocket for my stay. This was a lie as I immediately signed it and left. (Fortunately, there was a well knowledged lawyer next to me that informed me of this).
