I've been misdiagnosed in the ER and have had terrible nurses, and some good nurses, while in the hospital. I had a surgery that almost killed me and 1 Dr. that misdiagnosed me in his practice which led to a lifetime of pain because of this. I really didn't like going to the Dr. and having an intern in the office with me along with the scribe. I've had many terrible experiences at this hospital and at the clinic so I've chosen to transfer my records to another facility. I'm very happy with the service I've received from this new Dr. and hospital.

This very unprofessional hospital diagnosed me with carpal tunnel, when I saw my family doctor we found the real problem was diabetes. Thanks for the misdiagnosis and large bill for the misdiagnosis.,

2- 20-19, just got off the phone with the hospital they advised me they will do nothing about their diagnosis. They should be ashamed of their selves to misdiagnose and support the misdiagnosis.

2/26 Still have not heard from this hospital , we have written the administrator made several phone calls they all say they will call back but never do. Still no resolution!

3/9 Still no call back from the hospital, very poor ethics. Shameful!

I’ve honestly never been in a hospital ER with more disconnected and seemingly heartless nurses, doctors, and other medical professionals. My mom was admitted here this evening and the nurses/doctors behave like they couldn’t care less how uncomfortable she is. After being in the room for almost two hours, my mom had to use the bathroom while hooked up to an IV, so we pressed the nurse call button for help. When a nurse walked in, we asked if my mom can use the bathroom. Her response was, “I don’t know. What’s she even in here for?” It was so rude. The rest of the evening went on like that. The doctor would walk in and walk right back out with very little care for my mom’s condition. I have absolutely no idea why they work in an ER when they clearly don’t enjoy it. Patients come in here with serious medical issues and the least they can do is show a little compassion...even if they have to fake it.

Was treated like I was below them and felt like I was being constantly reminded that I was inferior to them and should be looked down on. I acknowledge that ive made mistakes past and present and i know Ive gotta make some big lifetyle changes but the staff here just take it to far. I checked into the ER for some pain near my hip mind you pushing myself to even seek the help is something i really struggle with so for me to make it threw that initial check in proceas I thought my worrying would soon be done......wrong..... these people do not want to help the fact that this is there job that they just want to finish as quickly and as easily as possible so they can collect there paycheck. They locked away my shoes, clothes, extra food, etc. Claiming that they had to because of my history the nurses never helped with anything aside from whatever bare minimum theyre job entailed. My pain was being asked about using a 1-10 scale to which i was answering 7 or 8 everytime so i was in a significant amount of pain but according to the Nurse i believe Alyssa was her name, they were out of pain medication which was a huge insult on my intelligence and was slapped in the face when they offered my Tylenol but as much pain as i was in i accepted to only never get the Tylenol brought to me! The list keeps going but im cutting it short here every minute i spent in this facility was a minute to long. If you want to be constantly judged and looked down upon because your past while receiving the bare minimum medical treatment that is done in a very non personal i dont wanna be hear attitude well then this hospital is perfect for you. As for me I was to the point where the mental stress from these horribly judgemental workers was worse than leaving and living with the pain while i seek treatment elsewhere. Dont waste your time with this place....health is wealth......^Ø_ø>🔚

The one-star reviewers have hit the bullseye in their reviews of Skagit Valley Hospital. From an uncle who had his colon punctured during a colonoscopy to an aunt who had hear liver punctured during an internal stomach exam, this hospital continually proves their negligent ineptitude over and over again.

I have horrible experiences with staff and providers just like my other family members. The office staff is argumentative, rude and abrasive. The doctors continually screw medications, referrals, and medical procedures. This is why so many people in the Skagit community say, "This is where you take people to die". I have chosen to LIVE, and so I seek my healthcare further south, and I have felt so much better for it.
