feedback about South Coast Global Medical Center
A month ago i took my mother to the Emergency Room for an Abdominal pain and fever. I was surprised that the waiting time was less than 30 minutes, we received great service from the nurses and the doctor. She was admitted to the Med Surge unit, and I am very thankful for the dedication from all the staff. My mothers recovery took 1 week and all I can say throughout my experience is that South Coast Global Medical Center is amazing. Overall the Emergency Room was very clean, Kudos to the housekeeper named Karen for maintaining my mothers room clean throught her entire stay. This will definitely be my to go to Hospital if anything.
If you think have any serious condition FIND ANOTHER HOSPITAL! After being admitted with an inner ear infection. The ENT Dr. Sherman Don is 86, can not hear or see very well, and could not read my MRI report. He could not stand up during the consult and almost fell over when he stood up to look in my ears. I had to give him the flashlight on my phone to see! He could not repeat back to me the simple answers I gave him to his questions. I cant imagine what the other Docs are like Global has on staff. This place is an Urgent Care at best.
I will say the nursing and front staff were great.
WORST HOSPITAL EVER! VERY DISAPPOINTED. WORST EXPERIENCE. RUDE NURSES. I was supposed to have my baby naturally ended up having a emergency c section bc they messed up on my epidural. They had already given me one . And I was still in a lot of pain the epidural did nothing so I asked for medication and they decided to do another epidural . Which I think was very unnecessary . They basically overdosed me and I had multiple seizures. Thank goodness baby was okay . After the c section I ended up at icu for loosing a lot of blood during the c section . They had me on a lot of drugs to the point where I don’t remember meeting my baby for the first time . They ruined my experience . One nurse was very rude , I needed help going to the restroom and my significant other asked her if she could help him get me to the restroom and I seen her roll her eyes . Also when I woke up at ICU I asked the nurse what happened .I was totally confused . And she said “let me just say , you almost died” . Unfortunately they were the only option I had because of my insurance.
Terrible experience rude parsonal, hygiene, service, careless ,heartless people in there ill go back only if im in ambulance without consent.. They gave you for pain a laxative or Tylenol but no medicine just the prescription. All day long for a prescription
At best adacute for Minor problems if more get to a major medical center the la area is loaded with execlent medical facility use them instead of this mediocre hospital.les
