South Lake Hospital

Had an unfortunate incident and ended up in their ICU. My family was worried about being in an ICU of such a small facility as I was in serious condition. The staff here was phenomenal!! They had the medical staff and expertise to cover all the issues I was facing and they acted quickly. I feel like I received the BIG hospital expertise in a very intimate and top notch professional environment. ICU and floor nurses were excellent and I am so grateful to them for my recovery and care. They saved my life. Thank you.

From registration, pre-op, surgery,recovery and post-op care Methodist Southlake Hospital was awesome. Surgery on Monday, released Wednesday, every minute was top notch. Very clean, organized, well equipped, great staff. My room was spacious and comfortable. In addition to my excellent surgeon, Dr. Clifton Cox & his PA, Gina, Methodist Southlake Hospital staff of Dr. Campbell, & Nurses Rose, Nana, Jackie & Friday were amazing. Perry, Julie and the nutritionist team along with the other staffs made sure to stop by to answer any questions, hear concerns and ensure my comfort. Highly recommended.

This hospital from the time I walked in to the time I left I felt important. Having a surgery with no family with me for support I was so thankful for the staff at this location. It was so awesome I want to work here. God bless you all and thanks for everything.

Amazing hospital!! Great staff all around They took real good care of me!! I had surgery there on Thursday morning and I tell you the staff and Dr Cox was absolutely awesome!! I was actually sad to leave that’s how great it was!!

Not a reliable or truthful place for medical care. My husband arrived for surgery and we were checked in and prepped. 20 minutes before surgery they cancelled due to problems with the operating room. We asked to speak with the surgeon and they told us that they called him and told him about the issues and he didn't even come in! Why didn't they call us? We took the entire day off work. We were told that because of the hardship for cancelling the surgery, they would repay our co-pay, which they required us paying prior to surgery. They did refund the co-pay. Unfortunately, when we did get the surgery done (3 weeks later), the insurance company paid the entire bill and when we tried to get the co-pay refunded (the insurance company paid the entire bill), they told us they couldn't do that. Multiple calls and attempts to contact them and they're not taking out calls. Would not recommend this hospital. Uncertainty in the operating room, billing issues all lead me to believe they're not a safe or patient focused place. Would definitely go to another hospital!
