I got home yesterday evening after a couple days stay in overflow. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the staff in overflow! They were swamped with people but still went above and beyond to make my stay as painless and comfortable as possible. Such great people I really wish I could remember all of their names but one nurse in particular really stood out, Nurse Tammy who took care of me on my last day, such a sweet lady and hard working! She has such a motherly quality and made me feel so comfortable she deserves the highest praise. Thank you all for getting me back on my feet!!!

Recently gave birth here at south lake. Please, especially if you’re an expecting mom, take the longer drive and go to a better hospital. My issue with the visit here is that too many employees do not communicate with one another or to the patient; therefor much unneeded stress and chaos. Nobody has been on the same page. I’ve seen McDonald’s that are ran more efficiently than how the staff here has been. They made mistakes with my baby, putting her in danger of illness, and admitted they “shouldn’t have done that”. They took my baby, not telling me they weren’t giving her back for a very ling time, and they did NOT feed my newborn for nearly SIX hours after she was born! Then they were too busy talking and chatting away while bringing me a breast pump. Several of the female staff had serious attitude issues, even attempting to mock me, which wasn’t very smart on their behalf since they were messing up so badly by “not knowing what to do and simply being human”, however it is 2019 and women are allowed to have an opinion, no matter how trashy they sound. Very disappointing they bring this high school locker room attitude to the hospital they work at. I personally am disgusted that my baby was in their care, I would not wish this on anyone else. GO TO A HOSPITAL THAT IS EDUCATED ON PROTOCOL AND PROCEDURES. The hospital endangered my newborn so much that I will have to get an attorney. It takes too much time and money and hard work to act this trashy and be in charge of precious lives. I personally do not know how anyone could simply behave this way, but it is unacceptable to “not know what to do” in certain situations.

This hospital is the WORST they do NOT follow the HIPPA Guidelines. They allow their physician to falsify patient records without reprimanding them. The patient care tech are allow to bring their mobile device into the patient room. They violate the patient privacy. My advice to any patient who is seen at this hospital Get a Copy of your medical record upon discharge. The HHS really needs to do a complete investigation of the this hospital

My husband had all the signs of a stroke, the hospital admitted him; did all kinds of test, no doctor ever came in to read his results, talk to him about what happened, no treatment plan because his arm was still numb, face was still spasming, hands are to swollen for his wedding ring, and the nurse comes in and says we are discharging you, that’s all. No further information, when i requested for the nuero doctor to call me he said he didn’t read the mri reports but the nurse said there is no tumor so he’s ok and the primary on the floor discharged him, yet he only.came in the room once for a second to say he’s getting an mri and was never seen again. The hospital wouldn’t give him a doctors note for work, all the staff under the doctors were great, except the doctors they were terrible!!!! Never again will we go here, they are so unprofessional!!!!!

The worst! I took my 75 yr old disabled mom to the er to try and get her some help. They wouldn't admit her, even tho her Dr. wanted her admitted. They sent her home in a hospital gown in a transport, even tho she had clothes there, she smelled like a bum she said they wouldn't clean her up (she can't do it herself) and had a bent iv hanging out of her arm! I called the supervisor to report it and was told I would hear back from them because he said "that is unacceptable and I'm opening an investigation " never heard back. I would never take a loved one there. They really don't care. They threatened me with dcf if I didn't come get her even tho she needed help. The case manager kept telling me they would bring her home even tho nobody was here. Awful!
