Awful.. One 🌟 is too high a rating for this in competent group. Dr Guzmam and her office staff should be ashamed. My appointments were cancelled 3 separate times. This is after they scheduled the time and the day. It took me 4 months see this questionable nurse practioner. The second reason I'm upset is the time it takes to get necessary perscriptions filled. Sometimes longer than 2 weeks. Go elsewhere if you have medical needs. This facility is a disaster.

Even though there is an almost completely different staff and administration from my years of employment at SCH I continue to have full confidence in the delivery of care to our community and visitors to our area.
There is a special comfort and pride one feels when able to serve one's neighbors and friends. I hope people continue to support our local rural hospital and speak well of the efforts the employees make to maintain a feeling of comfort and true compassionate care.

Took my wife in with severe abdominal pain they let her lay on the floor crying and wincing in pain for well over and hour,Finally she gets a bed then they let her lay there for 3 hours+ with no treatment or pain relief.10 minutes before she is discharged they gave her pain relief and send her home with Zyprexa ( A drug that treats mental disorders) and the doctor had no diagnosis! CLEARLY this doctor is getting paid by big pharma or has No clue!!!!!!!! Went directly from there to Coquille Hospital she was in and out with a script of antibiotics and ibuprofen and a diagnosis of a bad G.I infection. They also said the script of Zyprexa was a very odd script to receive for a G.I Infection. WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!
Stay far far away!Honestly it well worth going to Coos bay or Coquille.

Came here today with my daughter who was severely neglected and ignored at curry general . The staff here were caring and understanding . Dr. King was very thorough and was compassionate and concerned yet so very considerate. . And explained everything with my daughter and myself in a proffessional yet down to earth way that people who aren't in the medical profession could understand . I can't say how this hospital is all the time but I can say that we are very appreciative of all we dealt with from reception to discharge . Thank you ER staff . We appreciate you .

Tiny Emergency Department in a hospital with limited specialty and inpatient capacity. One patient who walked in after us left bc they didn't want to wait at all, but if you have that luxury, your condition likely us not terribly urgent. Our overall experience was excellent. Dr. Orsell is highly experienced and caring, and Shawna, our nurse was cheerful, efficient and skilled. If you are having a true health Emergency and need stabilizing treatment or comfort, this ER should be able to help you.
