I was here for 3 days for Gastric Sleeve surgery. My experience with the Preop nursing team was fantastic! Sophie was the best, truly caring and genuine. My surgery went well and my nurses in my room were all that was professional. Amanda, Bear, Casey and all the other folks I've forgotten, thank you. The hospital was clean, sanitary and I felt completely safe and secure.

Never got in to see the doctor. I called in August to say I'm tapering a medication and need to see a primary care. 10/2 I get a call from the nurse that she ALREADY left me a VM on 9/18, which simply isn't true and makes me wonder what non compliant HIPAA voicemail she left with someone else (my 10/2 vm contained my name and the desire to see Dr Lake). I don't understand how a doctor "accepting new patients" still take EIGHT WEEKS to call a patient in need of treatment.

Nursing Staff is Great! BUT doctors are not prepared for certain conditions. If you have an IBD condition that has the potential to have serious/fatal consequences if worsened, in the name of safety, get out of Biddeford and find an expert.

I work in healthcare and this place has HIPAA violations left and right. I walked in with excruciating flank pain and told them that I thought I had a kidney stone. Since I have had them in the past, I know exactly what the pain feels like and where it's located. After waiting for three hours, they discharged me before even reading my x-rays and ultrasound results. My discharge paperwork stated "unspecified back pain." Unbelievable!! My $3000 ER bill has been going in the trash every month since my unfortunate visit; I refuse to pay for the "care" I received. You're better off driving to Portland and going to Mercy if you can. MaineHealth, thank you SO MUCH for your terrible patient care. An overall absolute jaw-dropping experience.

Had to be admitted in the birthing suite overnight and had by far the best care. Rachel M. Was my nurse and I am so grateful for all she did that night. I highly recommend the birthing suite to any new mom. Rachel M. If you do see this I want you to know how grateful I am for everything. Thank you. Karlee Foss
