My sister Trang has been coming to CTCA Tulsa since mid 2017. Our experience is so vastly different than our local hospital in Houston Memorial Herman memorial city. My sister came in for pain and fever at their ER room on Jan 2 , 2019 . This was the starting point of the worse 2 months of medical incompetence I’ve ever witnessed. When our local hospital had not had the competency to save my sister’s life for 2 months ( due to their gross incompetence) and their bandaid techniques. We contacted Dr Prag and he tirelessly worked to bring my sister back to CTCA to help her. They keep persuading us to take her to hospice and gave us a hard time to be transferred to any other hospital. In contrast, your hospital environment is so calm and loving. You can feel the love and compassion when you walk through the doors. Dr Prag and all his doctors team up to save lives everyday . I cannot speak highly enough for the care and unrelenting hours Dr Prag, his team, and nurses worked to save and prolong my sister’s life. We are so impressed with Doctor Prag that we have to let everyone know that he is ONE in a million. This must be the work GOD through his dedication and hands to heal. He works tirelessly everyday as long as there is breath and a will to live in a patient, he will not give up on them. He is someone we really admire. He practically live here at he hospital coming to check on his patients, even on Sundays. His dedication to his patients leave us inspired and in awe. He went out of his way to bring my sister back to CTCA Tulsa for treatments when doctors in Houston all gave up on her. The volunteers, cancer survivors, families, and all hospital workers are all so wonderful. We know this is cancer, but you all treat the patients and their families with so much empathy and compassion that we are beyond touched. You all are doing God’s work and we want to express our utmost gratitude. Thank you so much from the bottom of our ♥️ hearts. The Pham family

My husband had Pancreatic cancer. He passed away last February. I did not think CTCA was good at all. He was told at Stevenson’s in OkC, that it had spread everywhere. They gave him 8 months to a year. CTCA gave him false hope. Giving him strong chemo, every 9 days. He felt horrid , for the last 8 months of his life! Even when it was apparent, he was getting worse. He had lost 90 lbs. they still kept doing chemo. I left it up to him , although I cried in private. The last time he saw the dr., 3 weeks before he passed, the dr. Said well, go to chemo this afternoon. Then he looked at his chart and said, oh, well I’m so sorry, it’s time to call hospice, there is nothing else we can do!! They talk about personalized care! He didn’t even know, at the last appt. , which patient , he was seeing. He had not even read his report! I would never go here! I feel it’s about the money. Giving a terminally sick man, chemo, 3 weeks , before he passed. Also, they don’t help you. I have a broken rod in my back, and I had to push and carry my husband, luggage, etc. they have a greeter but, no one to help you to your toom or anything. When I see the commercials, for CTCA , I get sick to my stomach!!

A very dear person to me goes to the cancer center from another state. Often because of negligence on the part of the center the tests schedule have to be delayed causing the patients to have to stay longer at the patient’s expense! When if the staff had been on its game these kind of mistakes & inconveniences for the patients could have been avoided.
Please, be ready & have the patients well enforned about what the should or should not do before coming so that things can be performed as scheduled!
