Spectrum Health Big Rapids Hospital

I was there in April 2019, I felt I had excellent care. The staff was awesome. 5 stars plus! Also a woman from the financial department was outstanding, her name is Terry. She was great so no way would I say any thing negative about this hospital. Kristy Berg

At first the OB staff was great considering i had my baby at a moment's notice then afterwards it went down hill. I didn't get my medication on time my whole stay, i told the staff i would be ready to get up and walk in a few minutes i had to wait 2hrs because no one gave me a call button, didn't want to listen to me about my concerns about my child, bathroom shower was dirty last but not least made rude comments towards my husband because he couldn't stay with me due to having to go home and take care of our other children.

OB GYN office seems less than thrilled to help patients who have concerns, hard to get an answer from anyone there. Prescribed my fiancee a medication that was contraindicated in pregnancy. After visiting two different ER that were not Spectrum Big Rapids, a few medical professionals even suggested finding a new OB. Strongly urge others to not come here. **UPDATE** Not much of an update, this place is still trash, the only thing i recommend is going anywhere else but here, especially if you're pregnant.

I’ve been to this hospital multiple times for THE EXACT SAME REASON and the problem is not fixed. Been having this same pain for 6 effing months and they don’t seem to know what it is. Debating whether I should make a trip to Grand Rapids or not. I’m probably going to have to in order to be given the right diagnosis. I literally haven’t been able to walk for 6 months and every time I come in they give me a splint talking about oh wear this for the next week and it’ll be fine. OBVIOUSLY ITS NOT FINE!!!!!!

Arrived when i was told to, waited half hour in the waiting room. Decided to go see whats taking so long. Found out they are behind and its going to be at least another half hour!!! I shoulda been told that they were running behind when i first got here! Will never come back here again!
