It truly depends on which area of the hospital you are dealing with. Arriving, getting vitals taken & the entrance personnel get a huge fail from me!! Bad attitudes & failure of monitoring those patients waiting out in the lobby patiently to be seen was unbelievable!! Insurance was not explained in detail before treatment began, so I have a huge whopping bill now due to not knowing what was covered. Very unclean/dirty in ER waiting room/lobby. Now.. Inside the doors of the ER, all of the staff were awesome, very attentive & working together diligently 😊 The doctors were working under heavy amounts of stress & pressure but they did amazing jobs!! Nurses on the floor where I was admitted to for a few days were the best!! The doctors at this hospital were amazing & cared deeply for their patients & staff!! Thank you for making a time in my life comfortable when it was the most uncomfortable time in my life. Thank you for taking good care of me!! 😊
My family has frequented the ER a number of times, and each time we’ve been welcomed with compassion and quality care. My son, a rambunctious boy, has found himself in the ED for a number of casts or stitches. The docs have been excellent, nurses have calmed him with patience, and I have been taken care of as a worried momma. The new peds ER area is gorgeous and has been designed with the child in mind. Excellent care!
My family and myself have been patients on multiple occasions. Everytime I am incredibly impressed by the collaboration of all involved in the care of the patients. We love the new updates the hospital is undergoing. This is an exceptional facility from the nurses, physicians, housekeeping, lab, radiology, and dietary.
My mother was brought by ambulance and they have decided that she is not in bad enough condition to bring her back into the E.R. She stopped breathing and had to be resuscitated before arriving. Is a bad diabetic with an insulin pump, congenital heart failure, lung issues, lymphedema, pre-renal failure. No guys, she's good passed in a f@#$%&* wheel chair in your waiting room!! Are you kidding me? They haven't even checked her insulin levels. Never, ever again!!
my sister is currently sitting in the ER department waiting to be seen. For one, she is 29 weeks pregnant and its a high risk pregnancy. Her dr told her to go up to labor and delivery and they sent her back to the ER. She is showing signs of having preeclampsia and has been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours now! She told them she is high risk and she was told this is the best hospital by her dr. Well good thing she can deliver at Progress west as well because they would never do that to a pregnant patient!
