Just had knee surgery and the staff and nurses made it stress free and were very professional. My surgeon Dr. Hardcastle greeted me before the operation and answered all my questions and concerns and put me at ease. I would absolutely recommend him to friends and family or to anyone looking for hip or knee surgeries.
I had an excellent experience here. I received prompt attention from a very caring, warm, friendly, and knowledgeable staff, including the doctors. It was very busy but I did not wait a long time for care, and everyone was very attentive. I went twice, a week apart, for dog bite wounds the first week and then suture removal a week later, on Friday evening and Saturday morning, which are busy times, and both experiences were outstanding. Best emergency room experience I have had. Will not hesitate to choose this ER first for future needs.
Awful - we were sent to the hospital last night by our pediatrician to do emergency blood work. We had to be signed in through the ER - which they couldn't figure out how to do, and then the lab department acted totally put out that they needed to do a blood draw on my child. Made sure to tell me over and over that they shouldn't be doing it, that we were too late, and that they "wouldn't do this in the future, just so I know". Obviously was not planning on an emergency visit - HENCE EMERGENCY. My daughter was treated roughly and has a huge bruise and a line where she should just have a pinhole for the blood draw. Don't go to this hospital if you want any sort of care - you're better off going to an urgent care - they're rude and incompetent.
Nice people, loved the doctors and nurses on my visit, but internal staff/administration needs some serious training on what their job function is. Went into the ER had blood urine and stool drawn for testing, month later nobody contacted me for results so I assumed nothing out of the ordinary low and behold they didn’t contact me but contacted my local health department about the communicable disease bacteria found in my system... called them up to get more information... “sorry we have no one here that can discuss this with you right now” ... excuse me aren’t you the hospital? everyone always warns me go elsewhere and I never listen because of distance convenience.... but next time I’ll be sure to take the drive to Ridgewood!
They didn't even try to help my dad. I really thank the ambulance crew though. My dad slipped and fell down 3 stairs. It was pretty bad and went to the ER. Everyone was too busy focusing on other patients and when they came to us, they were talking about how my dad didn't speak English. Like hello? I'm his translator guys you can use me. They were supposed to give him some pain killer pills, but didn't until I asked them to give it to him. The doctor was nice though and one of the nurses were nice. Everyone else was plain rude.
