Went in for tonsilitis. Was given 10 mg of an inflammation medicine nothing else. Was told the medicine would be in my system 3-5 days, but it lasted 2 days and the pain came right back. Was told to follow up with an ENT specialist from their facility and I can't get a hold of anyone or a call back and it's been 2 days of pain. Plus the bathroom to the room they had me in was dirty and there was blood & urine from patients before me.

There emergency services are the best in the area. They have helped me every time I needed them.

Love the hospital and the personnel, but about froze in the surgery waiting room! It definitely needs some improvements...No reading material, one small TV you can't hear, no snacks (did have coffee and drink vending machine), one of the chairs I sat in had almost no cushioning left (it was like sitting between two wooden slats). Oh and be warned all the seating is vinyl so it's tough on bare legs.

I am 21 years old. I am a childshood leukemia survivor of 18 years. I have a hyperactive thyroid and autoimmune disease right now. My parents are from a Vietnamese descent. I have been going to this hospital for two years. The hospital staff and doctors have neglected inform my family and I that my insurance Anthem BlueCross Blueshield provider: Anthem Silver Pathway X 3250 S05, have not been covering my hospital bills. My parents who do not speak English well were unaware about my bills being rejected causing them to have to pay out of pocket for every bill. Resulting in $20,000-30,000 my parents having to pay out. On August 8, 2018, I found out that my insurance was not in NETWORK with the hospital at all. Out of the two years I have been going to the hospital for lab work or visits, I found out my family and I were being scammed. I am disgusted with how the hospital staff and doctors do not take the time out of their day to make sure a patient is covered by their insurance or not. Because every patient is a person and a life that should not be neglected or taken for granted. It is the hospitals’ civil duty to help people, perform miracles, and save lives the best they can. I have waited for 2 years for my thyroid surgery and now I cannot have the surgery since my insurance card is out of network with the hospital. Thank you, for the great medical service.
