St John Main on 7 mile used to be my hospital of choice BUT I was there last week with someone and saw with my own eyes that the ER is nothing more than a drop-in hospital for drunks and drug users......Everyone in ER smelled so bad from no bathing or from liquor...There was NOT ONE regular person there for flu, cuts, fever, pain etc.....the only regular people were us.....I will never go to St. John again....It truly is a Ghetto hospital.....not Ghetto in the sense if Black or White.... .Ghetto in the sense of the people, white and black, that I was in a room with....will now have to change all my doctors who only work out of St. John's...........

I hope not too late to write a review for this place that suppose to be good hospital to work for. I been there for many years from a volunteer to be an employee. This place people don’t treat you like a human been. When they don’t like you. You will find anything to fire you. In the same time when they fire you. They told you that you cannot come back to work for them until some years later. They treated doctor really bad especially you are foreigner. Good luck! I got myself a better job with nicer people.

Their billing department is pretty mediocre. I showed my insurance card when I went to their ER, somehow they didn't copy it right the first time, so I gave it to them again over the phone when they sent me the bill. Later, they told me I was missing the middle initial on my insurance card. Called them a third time and they collected insurance information from my card all over again. And then they sent me another bill a few weeks saying they have no insurance information on file for me, again. So I have told them my insurance information for the fourth time now. Poorly organized.

My wife and I had a baby girl here. From Megan and Liz in the birthing center to Kayla and Laura in post partum plus rest of staff made the birth of our daughter so much easier. They were amazing to my wife and I and made my wife as comfortable as possible. Amazing work. Thank you ladies!

Fantastic surgical experience!!! The entire patient experience (Pre-Surgical Admit call to Discharge) was compassionate, thoughtful and very much geared toward making the visit easy to the patient. Besides my talented physician, thankful for the little things that meant so much: IV in on the first time, relaxation music on the journey between Same Day Surgery and Pre-Op - helped to calm the nerves; introduction of every team member by name to me (couldn't see name badges without my glasses); perfect medication management (not too much, not too little); discharge that included delivery of my post-op medications while in recovery (no extra trip to the Pharmacy)! So grateful for this awesome experience!!!
