This emergency department is the worse. The waiting room was not crowded and had to wait nearly 2 hours just to get a room to be seen. Once in the room the male nurse was rude. They wanted a urine sample from my Dad. He had urinated in the urinal. I thought the nurse forgot to take it. I went to the desk to say if he remembered they needed the sample while he was talking to his buddy. Not even looking at me said he already had it and continued talking to his buddy while I was asking another question. RUDE!!! The intern doctor was just as rude with his snide remarks. The actual real doctor was courteous, nice and more welcoming. Hate he had to leave before we did.

Pediatric floor is amazing. They make you feel right at home. Mothers get their own bed, own food trays, TV shower & parent lounge with donuts coffee and bagels babys get their own crib & the staff isn't constantly in waking you up or bothering you but yet still let you know they are there and will get you anything

My wife has some lab work done and we got the bill for it. As happens with paper mail sometimes, we lost the bill and forgot about it. We never received another paper bill nor a phone call from their billing department. Rather than try to communicate with us beyond a single piece of paper mail, they sent the debt to collections instead. To be clear, we were fully capable of paying the bill at any point but rather than try to reach us and see if the mail had been lost or if we had forgotten about the bill, they just sent it straight to collections where it will have an incredibly negative effect on my wife’s credit score. Incredibly unprofessional and the lowest effort I’ve seen from a medical billing department.

I DON'T KNOW IF THE NURSES THAT AND PATIENT TECHS THAT WERE WORKING 3 YEARS AGO ON 4 EAST AND WERE THERE SERVICING MY MOM IN MAY OF 2016 IN ROOM 455 ARE STILL ON STAFF THERE, BUT I WANT THEM TO KNOW IF THEY ARE, THAT I TRULY APPRECIATED EVERYTHING THEY DID FOR HER. SHE PASSED AWAY THERE ON MAY 21ST 2016 IN THAT ROOM. MY MOM ELIZABETH BAKER WORKED THERE ON THAT FLOOR AND 4 WEST BACK FROM THE LATE 60'S UNTIL SHE WAS MEDICALLY FORCED TO RETIRE FROM A JOB SHE LOVED. THANK YOU FOR KEEPING HER COMFORTABLE IN HER LAST HOURS. AND I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ST. JOHN FOR ATTENDING TO US AS WE GATHERED IN THAT ROOM AS SHE MADE HER TRANSITION. I KNOW ITS BEEN A WHILE BUT IT TOOK A WHILE TO RECOVER FROM OUR LOSS.. THANK YOU AGAIN. MISS WILLIE BROOKS

Ohmy Goodness

The Surgeons, Fellows, Residents, Nurses, Respiratory care, everyone was incredible. They each went above and beyond to make sure our mom was cared for properly with dignity and kindness, she was there over 3 wks.+ I would highly recommend Ascension St John on Moross to anyone. We were able to stay longer when needed and always felt mom was in the best of care. The SICU staff is outstanding in every way, truly committed to patient excellence. Their team runs like a family and treats the patients as if they were an extension of their family. 5 Stars!!!
