My family member had a surgery here. Before she was brought to her room, I had to request a new room because there were bugs on the 4th floor (not easy to just crawl in the window). Then there was a volunteer moving her, and pulling on her tubes and everything causing her pain. She was forced to fast for over 15 hours because meal service is unreliable. As someone who has consulted and been on site with hospitals around the country, this is the worst I've ever seen. Stay away. Her surgery at least went well, at least thus far.

The doctors are very efficient and did a wonderful job. The ward nurses, however, are a completely different story. Oh they’re nice, when you see them. I am sitting in my hospital bed writing this. I was brought into the ER last night and was brought to a room very early this morning. Twice, once this morning and again now I have been left in my room with alarms going off for over an hour. At least 3 calls to the nurses station and nothing. On the final call when the nurse finally arrives I was told that they were never told I needed assistance.... BOTH TIMES!!! This nurse didn’t even bother to apologize. Instead she told me she didn’t know who I had talked to! This is completely irresponsible and unacceptable. I am here with a heart problem. I wonder if the Drs are aware their patients are treated this way.

I got here last night with my boyfriend around 7pm, we ended up going from the ER to the 4th floor and had to stay overnight. While moving floors the nurse told us that he was going to be one of the first patients seen by the doc&surgeon in the morning between 8-9. We woke up and 11am came by and still nothing, we were then told 12:30pm and still nothing, its now almost 2 o clock and still nothing. This is ridiculous they have no idea the information that theyre telling us, just keep making times up when they really have no clue. The nurses we have had are absolutely clueless. Only good thing i can say about this place is that ER check in was quick. Other than that, unless you want your bill to be run up, dont come here.

We watch sci-fi movies where there are "portals of evil" - this is the real thing. This asylum is geared to bilking medicaid and medicare and defrauding patients in every action they take in every department. There is not the slightest interest in the patient, except for how much they can score and how long they can milk it, before they finally kill the patient. Look back on your stay there, or the visit of your loved ones. You will realize it's true. I have come across others who experienced the same thing. In each case, our loved ones went in healthy, but never made it out alive. One would think that such a cross section of different staff members with different qualifications from all walks of life - can't ALL be equally uncaring, incompetent, negligent, forgetful, callous and untrained - until you realize the common denominator is simply money. This institution attracts the type of ghouls that relish the suffering of others, or who didn't make it elsewhere because they weren't good enough, or who realize that THIS is finally a place where they can thrive, unchecked in their actions. If you ever have the misfortune or if someone you love ever has the bad luck of being brought here - get up and RUN!!!

I had my daughter here and I was 19 and I had gotten bigger so I had my wedding band and engagement ring on a necklace around my neck. Well the practicing nurse who was still a student was in my room with me and my daughter and I told her I was going to take a shower. She said she would stay with my daughter. When I came back out she was gone and my grandma was there with my daughter. I thought nothing of it until I went to put my necklace on that had my rings. They were gone. I knew I placed them there but still searched the room 5+ times panicking. They were a family piece and were appraised at only $1,000.00 but still meant a lot to me. I told the nurses and they said it was against protocol to have just the nurse in the room and that wouldn't happen. I explained it was the student and asked for her name and they couldn't release it to me. Then I asked will she be back tomorrow and they said no today was her last day training. Moral of the story apparently you can steal someone's wedding rings while in the maternity ward as a student. I will never go back there again.
