They made a horrific birth into a great experience the staff on the 5 th floor was wonderful, for starters Nurse Paula who works in the morning was wonderful, then Nurse Cheryl a night Nurse, came in and ease some of the painful birth, the pain management there were safe. These women made a long 36 hour birth turn into paradise, they were concern about not giving me anything that can harm the baby they were patient with me and the whole entire staff was wonderful, they truly love what they do, and they made me feel like family.....
The techs Theresa and Janie was lovely 😊, the nurses Paula, Cheryl, Danielle, Terri, Mariana and a few more I can’t remember they’re names were Angels.Everyone worked as a team to make sure I had an overall experience. Thank you so much St. Lucie hospital........

I gave birth to my daughter here. At the birthing Center, the staff makes sure you the baby and the father is well taken care of. They go up and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed. Had the best experience with my daughter. They will help you with anything you need and if you're feeling overwhelmed or etc They make you feel very comfortable. I HIGHLY recommend going here especially if you're first time mom like me or if you want to make sure the well-being of you and your child is met.

I have gone to St. Lucie Medical Center twice since I have lived in Florida. The first time they told me i caught a bug and would be fine in a few days. About a month later I was still deathly ill and reported to Martin Memorial just to find that my gallbladder burst about a month and half earlier and I needed emergency surgery.

The second time I went my legs, ankles and feet were swollen accompanied by severe pain in my left side, this time St. Lucie Medical told me that I most likely got food poison - go home and rest they said. 2 days later my husband again took me to Martin Memorial - to find out my kidneys and liver were shutting down, along with kidney stones and severe dehydration.

ST LUCIE MEDICAL GETS NO STARS AND THAT HOSPITAL NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN IF I HAD LISTEN TO THEIR ADVICE ON 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS I PROBABLY WOULD NOT BE HERE TYPING THIS BAD REVIEW!!

I was here some time ago and just wanted to say Dr. Steckel was incredibly rude to me and hope she is no longer working here. I had never been so uncomfortable and upset by a nurse in my entire life and actually left in tears because of her attitude. I've heard several other people had complaints about her. There was absolutely no bedside manner, empathy, she didn't even at least pretend to care.
