feedback about St Mary Mercy Hospital
My grandmother passed away at this hospital, due to an aneurysm that had already ruptured at home. When we arrived though the ER, they found her a bed quickly and made her comfortable. The staff was friendly and dedicated to providing her the best care. We came in the middle of the night, and upon hearing that she wasn't going to make it, 40 family members rushed up to the hospital. The staff put her in a quiet end of the hall so that all the family could visit, provided us with extra chairs, and even sent a spread from the cafeteria up for us! The charge nurse even made sure she had continuity of care with the same staff from one day to the next! Their care really turned a hard time of loss into a wonderful passing for my grandma!
My experience at the Birthing Center was truly amazing the staff here is wonderful very attentive to your needs and they made sure me and my baby was very comfortable in any way possible.. I would like to give a special thanks to the nurses Christina, Jessica , and Cheryl these ladies was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to take care of me and my new bundle of joy Born 12/26/18 every needs and I’m so grateful to have them as my nurses so thank you again to all the staff I had a wonderful experience here you guys ROCK!!!!
This review is for the birthing center. I just delivered my daughter here and they were amazing! The nurses were so helpful, caring, and thoughtful. Especially Sally, Liz, and Mallory. My doctor was just as amazing, Dr Timothy Johnson. They really made my birth experience as smooth as possible and I'm so grateful for them. I would highly recommend this birthing center to anyone having a baby.
We have gone here for our entire family from pneumonia (my son and I) to a broken arm that needed surgery and we have had no issues. We have been at multiple times and the wait was minimal if any. The nurses and doctors are always great with no concerns. I will say they seem a bit rushed at times but they are also dealing with a lot and it never sacrificed any care. They have always been great with my now 7 year old and I could not recommend them more. The only time I was admitted was for the birth of my son and while I did not have him there ( had to be transferred to St Joes due to the NICU being there) they were fast, efficient and friendly while completing the transfer.
The ER couldn't determine in 4 hours what my family doctor determined in 2 minutes. They sent me home with no diagnosis or follow up plan. Dr. Berry kept trying to get me to take anti nausea medicine even though I repeatedly insisted that I was not nauseaus.
