A doctor here has been treating my Mother. We recently lost our brother and all I wanted to know is if he thought she could take the bad news, is she healthy enough. I got a rude phone call back from the front desk saying this Doctor doesn't make that decision. I didn't want him to tell her, I just wanted his medical opinion. No compassion, no caring. Don't doctors give a damn about patients anymore? From now on I refuse to takey Mom to him ever again. He wasn't even proffessional enough to call me himself. What a cold-hearted doctor.

Staff and doctors are nice, but they better be for the money they charge. If your injured or in pain save your hard earned money, suck the pain up, and go to an emergent care facility. If you do decide you have no choice, make sure you have one hell of an insurance plan.

Horrible place, it doesn't matter if you are in pain they will lecture you on going to see your pcp. If you can't they lecture you on going to their fee based clinics. I write this as I am in pain I want to see why and the horrible n.p. refused to treat me.

This is my first positive medical/emergency experience in many years. For decades, after every hospital visit, I have been left with the feeling of being chewed up and spit out by the system. This time was different. The individual attention from the doctors and nurses was unexpected and appreciated. I will not hesitate to take myself, or loved ones to St. Vincent's ER......

Took my son in with symptoms of pulmonary edema from the altitude. Pretty scary thing for flatlanders that live at 1000 feet. They were unusually busy according to the nurses, but did a great job finding space to get us triaged and treated in less than an hour. Moreover, the nurse (Leroy) and the doctor (didn't catch his name) were really friendly and did a wonderful job explains the problem and treatment to my anxious son. Well done.
