I was the only person in the emergency room @ about 2am. I came in because I couldn't stop throwing up, fever, chest hurting, dizzy, not peeing well (told them I had just stopped peeing altogether the week before) ...after telling this to 8 or 9 different people. They still came in and dramatically would ask in the most animated way you could talk down to anyone. What brings you HERE (WAVING ARMS) at this time of the morning? I would proceed to tell my symotoms...and they'd say no no no...what brought you HERE.... finally I said I begged not to come here. The guys who picked me up (who were great might I add) told me everyone had requested to go to the other two hospitals I chose and they were very busy and I would be seen quicker in Pell City. So I went. They didn't do anything. Thank the Lord above I puked in the ambulance and they gave me a shot of zofran. As I'm trying to tell these people at Pell City answers to questions I could easily answer at anytime, I was dazed and confused...I found out later was a side effect of the zofran....but all I got was aggravated questions and replies that I was drug seeking or in withdrawals. The cab ride home, this man said everyone he picks up says the same thing. He told of their stories and his own experiences. They were worse than mine. So, if you are sick.... do not go there. . ..... "
