Stillwater Medical Center

The care has always been amazing. But the business/billing side is a joke. I specifically called and sat up automatic monthly payments to make sure it was taken out until I was in a place where I could afford bigger payments. Never received any calls or letters, or even an email about missing payments (not saying letters weren’t sent, just saying they definitely weren’t received.) Until I got a letter from a collection agency. When I called up there the woman I spoke with made it pretty clear that she didn’t really believe that I had set up automatic payments or that I genuinely hadn’t received any form of contact from them. I NEVER missed a payment for months then I just immediately stop paying? Not likely, especially since I’m only 20 years old and definitely didn’t want this to go to collections/possibly affect my credit which hasn’t even been established. Going to be so disappointed if they don’t recall this from collections, honestly up until this I had actually enjoyed their quality of service in this department. (Will update if this is actually resolved.)

If I could give this hospital 0 stars I would not because the environment or nurse staff but because of the negligent doctors who ruined my life. I came into the ER with severe abdominal pain hours later the ER doctor let me know that I needed emergency surgery in the morning to correct what they found and I agreed. The next morning I met my surgeon who was short, cold and rude he barely stayed in the room for a full minute before running off the get ready. Flash forward a week and there is fishing wire forcing my wound open in my belly button when I asked a nurse she said it was normal and offered to pull it out of my body for me it burned but after some tugging it came out. My pain never went away if anything it got worse so I saw another doctor for a second opinion he let me know that my surgery was completely botched they put stitches into my liver (that don't normally go there) that would not dissolve on their own so my body rejected them and a nurse ripped them out of my organ. I now live with constant severe pain I'm telling you please if you care about yourself do not get surgery in this hospital.

I am 100% satisfied and I recommend using Stillwater Medical Service to every one I know and to every one I care about. They have very high quality service, facility is very clean and the environment is friendly and accommodating. I am definitely a returning patient for my any other medical needs. I had an ultrasound done at the Stillwater Medical Center and the doctors were excellent. Everyone was friendly and I was admitted exactly on time.

Highly Recommended! Great Emergency Department. The staff was very friendly, quick, and definitely worked as team players. All of the staff, nurses, techs and doctor looked and acted like they loved their jobs. They made me feel at ease and relaxed and treated me great. I came to the hospital down and left extremely happy.
