My mom was on the 6 floor and now in CCU after the other floor just about killed her cause they wouldn't listen to her. Now on the CCU floor some are good and some need to quit. When you as a nurse won't listen to the patient, and you stop caring, then find a new job. You treat every patient as that's your loved one.
My mother had 103 temp. she is 72 yrs. old, terrible cough, chest rattling. Dr. Lee in the walk in clinic said her lungs were clear, chest x-ray was good, she tested negative for the flu so she wanted to treat her for the flu. Less than 6 hrs later we were in the ER, she had 104.5 temp. coughing up blood, diagnosis pneumonia and sepsis shock. She could have died. 6 days later she is still in the hospital. I believe my veterinarian would have diagnosed her better than Dr. Lee
Everyone, from ER to CCU to inpatient Rehab, was caring, professional, and provided the human touch often lacking in medical care today. And, the best hospital food I have ever had (once they took me off cardiac diet and I could get some seasoning). Kudos to doctors, nursing staff, OT/PT, and kitchen staff
Great experiences. I had to go to thier E.R. after being impaled in my under arm. Very good experience. I was rushed back almost immediately and had great care. I've also had a family member who has had two strokes and both times, had really good care.
Currently sitting in the room and not having a good feeling about this my mother is in for back pain and decreased urination the nurse is not being friendly more condescending than anything her BP dropped to 75/39 and after an hour they finally brought some fluids to try to increase BP also had panic attacks cause she felt like they were mad at her for not being able to pee in a cup or go for it scan. I will most likely drive to Nashville for emergency care.
