Very good ER. My 85 year old mom was seen and the wait was not that long at all. The staff are professional and provide outstanding care at this location. I highly recommend.

I wasn't there but I was at emergency for a friend. Who said he was coming here and didn't show. But my time was grand at 9pm on a Tuesday night

I have been seeing my primary care doctor at Sutter Medical Foundation (Family Practice and Women's Health) for 20 years. I had to go to Urgent Care last week then was transferred to ER. I was treated with tremendous kindness and efficiency by everyone - from intake, to nursing, to radiology, to the doctors themselves. I am sorry for the experience of others, but I am SO grateful for this hospital and the amazing staff!

Diagnosis: 1st degree burn. Treatment: bacitracin and dressings. However, it's a severe 2nd degree burn and the pain is excruciating, exacerbated by a preexisting condition. I asked for ice upon arrival and was given one of those small, squeeze and shake cold compresses. NOT ICE. I asked for another one, and it took over 15 minutes to get it. I couldn't even feel the coolness. I wound up rolling my wheelchair to the water fountain and just keeping it under cold water, until they called my name. To boot, I was treated like it was just a splash of hot water or something and nothing was done to address the pain. After I begged. Twice. All I got was a condescending look and told there was nothing else they do for burns. Like their robots. I should also note I am wheelchair bound and was sent home without any discussion of how to take care of it. Photos are attached to show how horrendous this burn is and it's grotesque progression. It was like performing minor surgery on myself. Probably save time, money and lots of frustration in the future and refer to Google instead. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Radhika, Social Care, Sutter Davis Hospital: Why would you not escalate this internally? How is blowing me off a satisfactory response? Very disappointing.

Had my daughter at the birth center in 2016. Though she had jaundice and we were in there for 5 days, they were so accommodating with meals/sleeping arrangements. Best experience of my life and they totally supported me in my natural birth plan and the volunteer doula that I had really helped me have a natural birth (I believe her name was Victoria). Not sure if she works there anymore but my nurse during delivery was Libby and she was the perfect nurse and so calming. The lactation consultants and the pediatrician that helped us were so wonderful too. And I had one nurse in particular, Melissa, who was so honest about everything (especially the jaundice process). I will never forget what a beautiful experience I had in those first days of being a mom, even though they were spent in the hospital the staff made the experience amazing. Can't wait to deliver my baby boy in May/June of this year. Secretly hoping for the same nurses I had last time!!!!❤
