feedback about Swedish Issaquah
Looking around for cancer treatment this place was by far the most convenient and attentive. The doctors in oncology and surgery communicate well as your treatment team and are up on the latest methods. They are genuinely caring and all the staff respond promptly to questions.
The GI department is amazing and great communicators. Billing has been very helpful through everything even when I start to get frustrated, they never lose their cool and will do their best to help.
Nice and clean hospital. The facilities are great as well as the staffs working in the cafe. But I felt really rushed by the midwives and doctors. Besides, I felt I'm like talking to robots who are just getting their jobs done than showing any concerns for their patients.
If you’re admitted here, know they have wonderful nurses and nurse assistants but they are badly understaffed. They try to respond to you as best as they can, but they are clearly overwhelmed. Some of the docs are a little iffy, and seem to be overwhelmed too.
On a minor side note, they need to get rid of the ability to order meals via the TV system. It doesn’t work, and it will tell you that your order was successful then it never shows up. And their tech team seems to have no interest in fixing the issues.
One of the worst hospitals in town. They have a very very laid back attitude regardless of the urgency of the medical situation. No amount of complaining/reporting has been able to resolve these issues. Wonder if there are any on call doctors at all. Patients are forced to leave voice messages one after the other expecting to receive return calls that would never happen. Please stay away from this one.
