feedback about Swedish Issaquah
If you’re admitted here, know they have wonderful nurses and nurse assistants but they are badly understaffed. They try to respond to you as best as they can, but they are clearly overwhelmed. Some of the docs are a little iffy, and seem to be overwhelmed too.
On a minor side note, they need to get rid of the ability to order meals via the TV system. It doesn’t work, and it will tell you that your order was successful then it never shows up. And their tech team seems to have no interest in fixing the issues.
One of the worst hospitals in town. They have a very very laid back attitude regardless of the urgency of the medical situation. No amount of complaining/reporting has been able to resolve these issues. Wonder if there are any on call doctors at all. Patients are forced to leave voice messages one after the other expecting to receive return calls that would never happen. Please stay away from this one.
We had our second daughter in this Hospital. We were very satisfied with the experience. Excellent service, excellent staff : nurses, providers, mid-wives and obgyns (we contracted with a doula as well). Nice rooms for both labor and postpartum. The food is really good as well (be sure to order 45min/1h before though :p). To summarize I highly recommend Swedish Issaqhah, especially for the support and the kindness of everyone. Thank you!
Great place and very nice staff.
I have been going there for a long time. The facility is very clean and modern. The doctors are nice and knowledgeable. Nurses are gentle, considerate and sympathetic.
My first experience was an emergency D/C which was done on the night before christmas. The obgyn on call was the sweetest doctor that i have encountered. Which she later ended up being my obgyn during my whole pregnancy.
Appointments are quick, they have a really organized and good system with that. I have never waited more than 10 mins for an appointment. Maybe one time I’ve waited 30 mins but that was once! Out of those 8 months visiting them.
They birthing facility was like a hotel room. If you are pregnant that is the place you will like to be! I can’t write enough good things about the nurses! They are fantastic and gentle and nice!!!
Then recently I had to run in for another emergency situation. I went in and within mins I had bed and was surrounded by worried nurses, name tag, IV, blood drawn, questionaries where done simultaneously. While a very lovely nurse came in with a warm blanket. Then the doctor on call came in within maybe 30 mins of waiting. Compared to another hospitals the waiting can be up to 2 hours. I had imaging done rather quickly, the diagnosis was done right away and the next day I had an emergency surgery done. While being on the patience bed I was treated accordingly and the nurses will explain to me the drug they are using and the steps they will take. So are the doctors, even the cleaning lady is nice!!! I can go on and on!!! I can’t really thank them enough for their care!!!!
Ohhh and parking is abundant and for free!!!
