Went to the ER for a rapidly spreading rash. Was sent through pretty quickly and the person who came into the room let me know there was nothing they could do for me because they do not have a dermatologist on call. That was fine, what wasn’t fine was the over 1,000 dollars in bills I received for this “treatment”.

I had a mammogram at the Tennova Healthcare located in Cleveland, TN. It was the worst mammogram experience I have ever had in the 30 yrs that I have been getting them. I chose this place because I had been to the Tennova Campus in Knoxville at Turkey Creek and Cleveland was a closer drive for me. The technician was rude, barked orders and directions at me, was very rough, almost what I call, "man-handling", did not position the machine to fit my height and told me I had to relax, which I replied, "I don't think I can) considering the position she put me in and I was on my tiptoes. She then said, "Well, you are going to have to." At that point I told her that I had never had an experience like this. She only did two xrays on each side and told me that it would be 3-4 weeks before I would hear because she had to get the report from Knoxville. What???? that's ridiculous ! With modern technology and both in the Tennova organization! I will not go back!

This place is terrible I would not and I mean would not recommend anyone to go here if they are sick they put my friends son on a bed and the sheets was dirty the room look like it hadn’t been cleaned at all the nurses are rude those poor workers up front have no clue of how to handle the patience in the lobby there was some girls yelling and acting childish the nurse that came in the room came in to tell why my friends son stomach was hurting and she says well it could be a tummy bug then say she don’t know why are you there if you don’t know they need new staff who knows what they are doing and get the ones out who is there just for a pay check and not for the help that people need when they come in there. The only part of this hospital that has good workers is ICU and The baby unit.

Was not impressed with ER check, but other than that, very nice hospital. Clean, professional, caring (expect ER check in). My over night stay was good, nightshift 4th floor nurse Stephanie, was outstanding. Day shift nurse (Cali? she was new working with Jeff) was great. Lab techs, nutrition, and everyone else was super friendly. ER check in was really bad, rest of ER staff was great. Please, PLEASE, fix ER check in

Three experiences at Tennova for my wife's care were good, one in ER, one for outpatient surgery and one for in-hospital surgery. The worst issue was mistakes in the billing department, which took several phone calls to resolve. I finally insisted on speaking to an office manager who was very helpful, apologetic, and provided resolution.
