No one really expects to get breast cancer, but when you do, it has to be addressed. Remarkable about this hospital is how well staffed they are. I had to get up multiple times the night after surgery (IV fluids in; IV fluids out!), and every time I called, I got an immediate response from the nursing station and assistance came right after. They had a liaison in the waiting room to assist family members, and all the people in radiology, and in the pre-op and post-op rooms were wonderful and encouraging. My husband was able to stay over in the room with me and he got quite cold (11 degrees outside) during the night when the thermostat didn't respond, so staff changed us to another room. I was bundled up like a cocoon in the hospital bed and was fine. The food was good, but I'd like to recommend they put some chicken vegetable soup on the menu - something between an all liquid diet and a plate of food - I had trouble swallowing that first night with the regular food, and the extra liquid would have helped. All around a good experience - well organized hospital, well staffed with lots of good people.
